Stayed the night before the Foxy's Century bike ride. I've always figured Best Western was a middle of the road hotel but this one wasn't half bad. Parking on the sides was tight but there is plenty of room up front, no issue if your towing something and it was well lit.

I highly recommend this Best Western. The front desk clerk was friendly and accommodating. The courtyard/pool area is clean, updated and inviting. The room we had was clean and seemed recently renovated, with modern decor and a comfortable bed. We will definitely stay here again!

King bedroom had plenty of roomy space w/ lounge chair & work desk and small fridge/microwave. The barn door style to the bathroom was the only awkward config, but since I was a single user in my room, no biggie. Bed was pretty comfy, slept the night through and woke up refreshed. Location very convenient coming off the freeway. Plenty of parking and felt safe in the area. Super close to the HIVE for eats with farm to table food and honey tasting.

This place is ONLY acceptable as a last resort! It is dirty, not well-maintained and the rooms I stayed in was had not been properly cleaned at all! I used rewards points for the first time eve and had the worst experience ever at a Best Western. Room was dirty, towels were ratty, one tissue in the tissue box! Even the valance over the window was covered in dust and cobwebs! Pathetic! This experience will be my last as it is clear that Best Western does NOT value its rewards members and loyal customers!

Let’s make it clear from the get-go we stay in a lot of Best Westerns throughout the country, some are excellent, some are good, some are bad, and some are horrible. This particular BWP is neither good or bad, just incompetent. Checking in on Wednesday around 4 pm. and proceed to our room 141. We asked for a quiet room and they gave us one directly across from the pool. Not quiet. Not more then 20 minutes from checking in, shedding my clothing and settling in to relax, the door opened up and a couple stood there staring at my husband and I. They backed out, said sorry, but the creepy husband stood too long gauking at me before he shut the door. My husband got up, put his pants on and went to the front desk. He spoke to the women who just checked him in and asked what the hell was going on. She said their computers were acting up and had not registered us. How could she not know that the room was occupied, she just did it. This is gross negligence and a letter will be sent to corporate offices. WTH.

BW Shadow Inn Woodland, Ca is my preferred hotel for Northern Sacramento, Natomas, and Woodland area as it is near my work location and is used exclusively for my associates while they are visiting from out of town for training or other business. After trying other hotels Shadow Inn has been the best for all amenities, clean rooms, helpful staff, ease of booking (via website), and location. Highly recommend for this area.
