Located in the Wuzhishan National Nature Reserve, the Wuzhishan Yatai Rainforest Resort (Yatai Lanhai Wuzhishan Yulin Jiudian) is designed as a villa resort based on the traditional villages of Hainan’s interior. Nestled amongst natural rainforest and a unique ecological landscape, the resort offers guests a view of how the Li and Miao ethnic minorities of Hainan live. Perfect stay in the amazing surrounding. Huge terretory with villas, swimming pool and a little zoo build in a tropical landscape. The hotel is located right next to the entrance to the national rainforest park.
The stuff is super supportive. We were upgraded to the room on the 5th floor with a remarkable view on the mountains. Also, Mr Sam help us to plan and book our futher travelling in the surroundings.

The hotel is close to the rainforest park, but far away from the city. The room is spacious and clean. The gym equipments are old. The outdoor pool is nice. The parking lot at the front of the hotel is very small. The staff are friendly. The buffet breakfast is expensive for its quantity.

A much needed weekend staycation in Hainan.
Hotel is in a gorgeous location - set in the tropical rainforest. Very large grounds.
Helpful and accommodating staff.
Bath tubs and heated blankets for the cooler months.
We had a fantastic guide who took us on a walk just outside of the hotel and into the rainforest. You can do a shorter loop or you can continue up and up and up lots of stairs- it is a good workout. The path is not 100percent complete / or not open right at the top so we went to a little door and back down again. I very much enjoyed this walk. Our helpful guide provided with walking sticks and helped with photo opportunities. After the the walk he showed us a a temple and gallery located in the hotel’s grounds. The gallery kindly provided us with our very own tea ceremony and the views from the small room of the mountain was lovely.

Great location right next to National Park and only place that has special process to bring foreigner into the park (which normally is not possible anymore).
Nice view possible from the room, but always depends on the weather :)
Restaurant service due to Chinese new year was a bit messy, but welcoming-cultural dance and helpful staff made an overall great stay.

Poor service. Rest of the Hotel was nice. Nice location, nice outside area inside rainforest. We checked in advance to make sure they accept foreigners and they did. But they didn’t bother telling us that the national park that this hotel is in, doesn’t really allow foreigners to hike up the mountain (which is the only reason you’d really go to that park). They only told us by letting us sign a piece of paper at check-in that states we wouldn’t try to climb the mountain as it’s not allowed for foreigners.
So we stayed only for a night and left again - disappointed.

Pretty location, good service, clean rooms - but very cold and damp in December with no heating in the rooms. Probably a great place in the summer, but I would not recommend it during winter.

Nice location for visitors with cars, otherwise very hard to truly checkout the beautiful region. A big rainforest park is right next to the hotel but doesn’t take foreign guests which was a huge disappoin**ent for my family.

酒店真是世外桃源，空氣確實好，因為下雨的原因沒能爬山留下少許遺憾，令人驚喜的是這麼偏僻的酒店居然有如此精緻的燒烤音樂酒吧，酒水也比較豐富，燒烤食材和味道也在線，還可以K歌，酒吧胖老闆挺有意思，酒量也很好，晚上大醉，非常盡興
