No 10 the Abbey

Nice, clean room. Perfect location. Lovely staff. Great kitchenette but could do with sweetener. Woke up to the lovely Abbey bells. Arrived early so to get a free parking space down the side of the Abbey. Very comfortable bed. Terrible shower!

Beautiful room. Very friendly staff. Very helpful too. Definitely recommend The parking is on the narrow rd outside No.10 if there are spaces, but do not park under the trees directly outside as your car will end up completely covered in bird poo as did mine.

The venue is excellent with good quality bedding and a very well kitted out Kitchen area if you wanted to cook in Excellent Bedding and quality the shower and bathroom had good quality ans towels supplied were a little small for the larger frame person but all good

Really enjoyed our stay. The setting is remarkably quiet considering it is so close to the village centre and opposite the Abbey. The concierge was really helpful and always cheerful! We had some issues with parking in the limited Hotel spaces but there is plenty of free parking close by. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely welcome, beautiful Appartement thank you. We always come to see my son and daughter-in-law who live close by. Great location town centre so close. Receptionist can not do enough to help she really helped. Will definitely stay again.

We had a great Chris**as staying at No. 10 on Chris**as day night and boxing day night. We made some last minute changes to our booking and were very well attended to by Caitlin. The room / bed was very comfortable and had been excellently prepared by Jade. The facilities were just as advertised and suited us perfectly. If we had any minor criticisms it would be that the bed was so big that it obscured the switch to the personal light on one side and there was no bed side table on one side. We could have done with a few more hooks for coats / dressing gowns / towels etc. Highly recommended.

The communication before, during and after our stay was excellent making sure that there weren’t any hitches. Excellent amenities, location and lovely decor. The electronic key system worked well although there was a Receptionist available to assist if needed.

A convenient high standard stay when visiting relatives nearby for the Chris**as period. The apar**ent was ideal for my needs and would equally suit a couple. Very happy with the booking process. Everything very good. Key system ideal. Only drawback at busy times I would imagine would be parking as there are only 4 spaces, first come first served, but as has been otherwise stated there is ample parking just down the road so it is not a major problem.

We stayed here last week and here are the good, average and bad points Good Very well situated in the town, just behind the Green Dragon pub and opposite the Abbey which is great. The rooms come with fridge and a two ringed hob, small wardrobe and the quality of everything is good, bed is comfortable. Average The checking procedure is vague. Booking email states, you will be sent a code and that doesn’t happen, but the door is open until 16.30 and there is a human there that will give you a key. I have no idea what happens after 16.30! Bad The parking is quite an elaboration of the truth, there are three and a half parking spaces at the front of the property, however the Disabled rooms discharge to the front into the ‘carpark’ so parking can be very awkward or non-existent if you turn up at later in the evening! The shower in our room was a joke, it was like a watering can with a lot of leaves stuck in the sprinkler head. I ran around the shower cubicle for 15 minutes and came out dry! If you get a room by the main door, the door closer has gone and the door slams constantly. The pillows and I believe also the duvet are entirely filled with feathers or something similar and these provided no support whatsoever and if you have allergies then you are going down - see what I did there? Summary Good place to stay, but at £100 a night, it needs to be better!
