Secret Garden Yangshuo

Very rarely in China do you come across such a special place created with so much care and attention to detail. In the heart of where we wanted to be. We stayed four nights. Thoroughly recommended.

I loved this location away from Yangshou town. The rice fields were beautiful and the old village architecture. You can rent bikes or ebikes if you don't have your own transport and there are plenty of lovely walks through the rice fields. On a rainy day or if its too hot to be outdoors exploring there isn't too much to do though.

What a fantastic experience!! Highly recommend. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else while visiting the beautiful Yangshuo area. Kids loved it!! It’s just a magical place, traditional Chinese house, excellent food, service. We took an “afternoon off” from doing activities and spent the time in secret garden and the area around. In a village, we walked around to see the cows coming back home at 5 pm, chickens and bunnies, great coffee shop nearby at a “New York price” but high quality coffee and cake. Secret garden is a place you can explore and be amazed at every step: roses and mini fountains, nature… can’t think of a better place for kids! Comfortable beds, sufficient space, nice little courtyard attached to the room, not enough time to take all in. Had tea in the evening on the terrace, amazing. Breakfast was great. Tried dinner as well, very good. Would love to come back and spend more days. Don’t hesitate to book.

Nice place but food neither western or Chinese food that great.

The location, although remote, was very pleasant and safe for the kids. The room was fancy with two floors! It was clean and very nice for the children to play! The hotel itself was a real secret place for the children. Food was delicious!

We stayed 4 nights. Enjoyed the stay. It’s good to have a bike or car to get around. Or have a driver. Some nice walks around the village. Western and Chinese dishes. English is spoken and the hosts are friendly and attentive. Good place to relax. Ms. Ding was giving good advice of where to go in the area. Thank you to Ms. Ding and all the staff

Some friends and I biked here from Guilin in the cold and rain. We were treated with warm smiles and hot ginger tea. The staff was great, the rooms were big and cozy and the food was delicious. The neighborhood view was incredible and biking around was easy and met with lots of friendly places. If you are a baijiu person, stop at the coffee shop a few buildings down and get a glass, the owner is very friendly and makes it all himself and he is very proud of it, as he should be, the coffee there is good as well. My friends and I were wanting to have a bbq and firepit on our outdoor patio and were trying to scrounge up the equipment we would need. The staff heard what we were planning and were quick to help us get all the gear that we needed and even joined us and hung out. I will definitely be back with my family. I 100% recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to go and relax

Just AMAZING! Location, staff, rooms! The atmosphere, breakfast-was just what we needed! See you there next time!!! It is an old building, totally and cosy restored. We were met by englisg speaking staff, were showed the room, got information about the show. We had a room with a small yard to enjoy evening time with stars in the sky and western breakfast was super good too!

It was such a nice experience. The service’s hotel super good, people there super friendly and ready for any help you need. The room is big enough for 2 persons. Bedroom, toilet and shower separated. Clean. The food is nice. The breakfast is included (only the Chinese option) if u choose English BF you pay just an small extra. It’s highly recommended. Renting a electric’s motorcycle you can go everywhere. Cheap and convenient!
