La Huerta Hotel

If you are looking for a getting away from a busy life style of a city and looking forward for an encounter with pure nature and nurturing your body with real food coming directly from the soil to table then la HUerta is the perfect place To go! We had an incredible experience in this hotel; honestly words can't describe the level of relaxation this place provides for you ! The hotel is gorgeous and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did the tour of the organic farm and it was an amazing experience ; just knowing and learning the techniques that are applied and getting the knowledge of how they produced their organic food! We learned to make our own Sauerkraut picking an organic cabbage from the soul. Cheese and butter are delicious and we got obsessed 😋 with the Mora salsa in our breakfast. Food is very unique and delicious and the fact that you know everything is organic is a super plus!! You wake up with the sound of so many variety of beatiful birds ! You got captivated by the flowers and  plant species : avocados trees, mandarins, plantains all sort of vegetables and herbs. While in la huerta you could go paddle boat 🛶 in the calima lake. Very fun experience! Looking forward to come back for a longer period of time! We highly recommend this place!

If you're looking for a quiet, rural, hotel experience, you'll likely enjoy this hotel. The hotel seems new, and the architecture is very attractive. A main feature of the property is an ecotour through the rainforest. The hotel owner is a former agrichemical exec who has become passionate about the power of organic methods and ecosystems. Be sure to ask for a tour of the rainforest and the gardens. It's about a 90 minute walking tour. I loved it and it's caused me to think more deeply about agricultural methods and also nutrition.

Honestly this place was great, the stay was amazing, the rooms were amazing, the pool, the jacuzzi, the restaurant, the food was delicious fresh from the ground they have beautiful farm where everything is completely organic. The bamboo rainforest was probably one of my favorite things and also I had the chance to learn a lot about the culture and the science behind going organic, the owner is a great person and takes it very serious. This is a perfect place to connect with the nature and mother earth, I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to live a different experience and I would come back as many times as necessary.

It’s a nice place near Buga, it is excellent to have a good contact with nature and disconnect from the city, the food is delicious and 100% organic. The service and the rooms are very comfortable and the weather is perfect. You can take a tour around the garden, go to the pool and enjoy the campfire at night. You definitely have to go, do not miss this super experience.

This quaint little hotel nestled on the side of a mountain overlooking Lago Calima is the perfect place to kick back and relax. The food, the views, the farm complete with chickens, pigs, bananas and plantain are all perfect. The farm provides the majority of the food prepared at the hotel. The staff are wonderfully friendly and attentive.

Traveling is always a challenge. At La Huerta they know exactly what I need and when. Their do take that extra mile to please clients. I try to keep a healthy diet when flying and their organic food hits just the right spot at any time of day. 100% recommended.

Nos reunimos los compañeros del Colegio. Éramos 33 personas. Nos atendieron muy bien. Muy buenas instalaciones, Cuartos cómodos, la comida muy buena y original. El concepto de ser regenerativo es muy interesante. La atención del personal nos hace sentirnos especiales.

Un hotel que ofrece comodidad y conocimiento, buena comida y descanso. No recomiendo que pidas cocteles, no son su fuerte.. sin los ofrecen primero deben asegurar que sea un buen producto.. el gintonic era agua con exceso de limón mandarino. La explicación del ing. Iván es excelente, muy recomendable tiene mucho conocimiento técnico. Lo recomiendo todo

El lugar es hermoso, las habitaciones son bastante comodas, esta como 38 minitos del lago calima, la comodidad y la amabilidad deo personal es tanta que no te ganas de salir del hotel, me gusto mucho la experiencia. Un lugar recomendado si quieres desconectarte en un ambiente comodo y lindo
