We started lining up to go down the mountain at Shuangxi at 4:30, and it took a full 3 hours😵I queued for 2 hours when going up the mountain. It took less than 4 hours to walk the big circle on the mountain (originally it was said that the big circle would take 7 hours) but I checked out too quickly, so I knew I had to wait 2 hours to go up the mountain, I was dumbfounded

We didn’t actually stay here but had this place booked for 2 nights. We shouldn’t have gotten a refund because we were trying to cancel 1 day after the check in day but I contacted the hotel owner and she agreed to charge us a 20% penalty. My husband fell incredibly sick and was bedridden and we had to find him a doctor during the CNY holiday. We were also with our baby and I was so stressed with how we were going to get to our destination. The hotel owner was very understanding and we hope that the next time we come back we can stay at their place. The owner sent me a video of the hotel and it looked beautiful.
