Lovely location, we had a river view room. Quiet after 9pm. Comfortable bed, very clean room. Just a bit pricy. The price did however, include a delicious breakfast. (In my case it was gluten free which I ordered when I made the reservation). Excellent location to visit the windmills on the other side of the river.

good bed and pillows, breakfast by the waterfront very nice and good. The staff was excelent. The lightning of the room was not practical as you had to leave the bed to switch of the lights. in the bathroom there was no hanger for your clothes

Just back home after a 3 night stay at this hotel. I stayed on my own as I booked late and could not find a hotel in central Amsterdam for the Koningsdag weekend. Room was lovely and had everything I needed ( I enjoyed the coffee machine) Friendly and helpful staff and a nice continental breakfast. Great views across the river from the terrace. Nice place to stay if you are unable to find suitable accommodation in Amsterdam as the train station is very close ( 10 min walk), and its only 15 mins travel time to Amsterdam Centraal station, train runs until late ( last one back from Amsterdam is approximately 1am) so easy to have a good evening in the city. Only negative for me was the early closing of the bar/restaurant as it would have been nice to get a drink in the evenings past 8 pm!

Super stay at this fabulous boutique hotel. Friendly check in agent Leon allowed us early access to the room as it was ready. Fabulous view across to the windmills. Continental breakfast was a tasty bonus. The town was noticeably quieter after the day visitors had left, & we had a choice of restaurants.

Clean rooms with beautiful view of the river and Zaanse Schans. Huge lovely bed. Enjoyed our two night stay and vlose to everything in Amsterdam. Just a quick train trip away. Spar across the street. Walking distance from the train station.

What a perfect start to our vacation! Hotel Zaan staff was more than helpful, rooms were clean and bright, bed comfortable and breakfast was delicious. All our needs and requests were taken care of quickly. Location to Zaanse Schans and the area couldn’t be better. Highly recommend.

Went with family, for Easter break. The Hotel is next to the river Zaan, so amazing view during breakfast. Peaceful location away from the Amsterdam hectic. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Since it is an Online Hotel, keep an eye on your emails. Next train station 5 mins walk from the Hotel. No Complainsts!

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The check in procedure simple and intuitive. The breakfast was nice with a beautiful view from the restaurant. Only complaint the bathroom was very cold compared to the room.
