The positives are this is a quiet hotel with a pleasant inner courtyard for breakfast and situated right on the quiet main street of Zahara de la Sierra. The manager was pleasant and the room was clean and bed comfortable. The room was extremely dark, even with all the lights on, and the furniture is getting a little tired. The plumbing is less than ideal with a request to not flush any paper. That said, it served our needs and was a pretty good deal.

No problem with the hotel, very efficient, helpful and friendly. We have discovered mountain-top villages are entirely unsuitable for our aged bodies - but it was a wonderful location and far more splendid than its near neighbour Ronda, which was the purpose of our trip

overall a decent hotel. price is reasonable. location is outstanding. you are in a quiet street in the top of the village. no traffic, plenty restaurants just around. very nice a**osphere. you go there just for this feeling.

obviously the rating is not as much for the hotel room as it is for the environment. the hotel is simple and decent. clean. you get AC, WiFi. in our case the room was actually fairly big. we did not try the breakfast: we should have done considering there is limited option around. what trumps all is the location near the top of zahara in a mostly pedestrian area with plenty restaurants just downstairs and the view from either our room or the plaza. when at Marques, you are out of this world and can enjoy quiet and the tapas.

Hotel situado en la calle donde están la mayoría de bares y plazas principales. A un paseo de la zona medieval y castillo. Personal muy amable, habitación amplia y limpia. Tuvieron varios detalles con nosotras, bombones en la habitación, bebida en su patio interior y una botellita de aceite. Nuestra estancia fue muy agradable, volveremos!

Hemos pasado unos días en este alojamiento y la experiencia ha sido muy positiva. Limpísimo, la habitación bastante grande y el personal muy profesional y atento a los detalles. La decoración es muy atractiva y su ubicación, inmejorable. En pleno centro del pueblo, junto a los bares principales y al lado de uno de los muchos y preciosos miradores que hay en el municipio. Un diez por todo.

Está situado en la calle más céntrica del pueblo, por las mañanas se puede llegar justo hasta la puerta en coche para dejar las maletas y después aparcar un poco más arriba. Entre semana se aparca bien en cualquier parte y no hay que dejar el coche tan abajo. El Hostal es antiguo con una decoración entre medieval y árabe con un patio interior muy agradable. Edificio con dos plantas sin ascensor. Nuestra habitación en la segunda planta era cuádruple con dos camas individuales y otra doble separadas por un pasillo y una puerta. Baño bien. Todo limpio y con amenities suficientes. Armario amplio y pequeña neverita. Dos balcones mirando a la calle principal y muy bien insonorizados. Se puede mantener oscura la habitación para dormir. Arreglan la habitación todos los días y cambian las toallas cada dos. El dueño siempre está en recepción para cualquier cosa. Aconsejo incluir el desayuno porque los bares abren tarde y por estar bastante bien, no recuerdo ningún hotel de 4 estrellas que ponga zumo de naranja natural. Precio competitivo. Lo recomiendo a quien como a nosotros no le importe las escaleras ni lo antiguo.
