White Olive Elite Laganas

HOTEL The hotel is located in a quieter part of the very busy town of Laganas. The lobby, restaurant, pool, everything is modern and well-maintained. There are 3 pools, the first, by the bar, is suitable for performance swimming and has a children's pool 40 cm deep on its edge. The second pool is more for some group sports and games, and there is also a small whirlpool. The third pool is located directly next to the restaurant, and it also has a children's pool (depth 60 cm). In my opinion, this is where a designer or architect really made his mark. The water in the pools was 24-30°C, depending on the time of day, and was perfectly clear. The water does not smell of chlorine. All pools are surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas. What surprised us was that there are several inflatable pool loungers, balls, hoops, and other things available. We really didn't understand why the pool attendant kicked us out of the restaurant pool with a baby who was equipped with swimming and safety gear and was accompanied and supervised by three adults. This was not explained to us. Not only in the hotel, but also on the entire island and basically throughout Greece, there are cats. These are part of this country, the Greeks love them, and if you don't, don't go to Greece. I have seen other guests kicking cats, for example. There are two cats living by the hotel and often visitig it, but they are not disturbing guests, if they don't want to. STAFF Complete satisfaction - everyone, except for the above-mentioned one-off exception, is absolutely helpful, willing, and kind, most of them speak good English. We were here with a two-year-old child, which is not always pleasant for everyone, but the staff was excellent and even made jokes with him. In particular, Bruna, Criss, Costas, Joanna, and Romeo are professional employees, overflowing with genuine kindness, helpfulness. ROOM Our room (superior triple) was modernly equipped, with a balcony and a large bathroom, equipped with a safe, electric kettle, a drip coffee maker, a refrigerator, tea, coffee, and utensils. We received a very pleasant fruit basket and sparkling wine as a welcome gift. Although we read in reviews that the waste smells, this was not the case in our room. However, it is true that the waste drains slowly - but this is caused by the guests themselves - they come from the beach all covered in sand and go to shower in the room instead of in the designated areas... The room is simply great, the "worst" thing that was in the room was a slightly worn-out handle in the bathroom, but I'm more writing this as a kind of "joke". The room is cleaned and swept every day, and the bed linen and towels are changed every day. FOOD The food evaluation is very subjective, but I will try to provide an objective assessment. Just returned from a family holiday in the White Olive Premium Laganas and it was amazing from start to finish. The rooms are spotless and spacious and cleaned every day by very friendly and hardworking staff. The food it really good and varied every day and we really enjoyed each meal. The drinks are great and the friendly bar staff are happy to make endless cocktails which we really enjoyed by the various pools. We always managed to get 4 loungers and it was good to see very little towel hogging . The hotel is very quiet itself and it’s a short walk to the beach and shops etc . I have a bit of a disability and the entire team helped to make my holiday very special and I had no issues at all getting around as it’s very accessible. The whole team are so very professional and especially the restaurant manager and the general manager who really know how to ensure you have the best experience. There is a new part across the road just being completed which has swim up pools and looks amazing. There is also a place to book very reasonable trips just next to the hotel. Would highly recommend turtle island and the caves. We will definitely return to this hotel.

Loved this hotel! The bed was so comfortable, I slept better than I do at home. The room was clean and well appointed. The bathroom was a little small but was fine. We loved the food! Amazing choices of meat, gorgeous salads, plenty of vegetables and fruit and a good choice of desserts. I can’t understand the people who say they couldn’t eat, there’s plenty of choice and there was always pasta! Breakfasts had cereal, bread, yoghurt and fruit as well as cooked items. Food was replenished quickly. The hotel is well located not far from the beach and the main ***** was about 10-15 minutes walk away. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room cleaner was amazing, we had fresh towels every day which we didn’t expect. I also had a really good massage in the spa which was a reasonable price.

Firstly if you book a twin expect to get a king bed as it’s deemed acceptable to sleep with your children here. Want a towel for the pool or beach sure that’s 10 euro each deposit but that’s got to be cash “In this day and age” and finally “so far” we have just arrived. Want WiFi in your room ? That’s an additional charge.. 5 star hotel ??? NO

Have just returned from a 10 night stay at this hotel. The hotel was great nicely decorated and clean, my room was ground floor with a veranda outside for table and chairs and was always cleaned daily by a lovely lady. I found the food in the restaurant to be tasty and varied and could always find something to eat and also try new dishes. The staff were all efficient, friendly and helpful nothing appeared to be too much trouble. 3 pools so always plenty of sunbeds and areas to sit. Near the ***** for a lively night but not near enough for noise, really close to the beach, local shops, restaurants and a local bus stop for travelling further afield. As I am a solo female traveller I also appreciated the safety and security of the room I was in which had 2 sets of lockable doors to the veranda. Safety deposit box free in the room and a kettle and fridge. All in all I would like to thank everyone at the hotel for a great stay, hopefully I will be able to return. PS there is a small kitten which lives behind the hotel near some bins,I fed it for 10 days and would appreciate anybody else to do the same I named her Luna, l attach a photo Thanks in advance x

A nice and modern hotel, clean rooms with friendly and helpfull staff, extra compliments for the floormanager which always puts a smile on our faces. Good foods and drinks surrounded within a relaxed environment. Ice Cream and delicious cocktails by the pool😎

An amazing holiday on one of the most beautiful islands of Greece. Great hotel with top services, very good organization, delicious food and helpful staff. We were very satisfied, our expectations were fulfilled and we will definitely come back one day! 🤩

I recommend this hotel. Every place of the hotel was clean. The food was fresh and various everyday. The staff was amazing especially with our kids. We had a great time and I think that the hotel is suitable for families with children. Thank you for everything!
