Zante Calinica Hotel

Great hotel, very clean well maintained and great staff Breakfast was very good, staff very helpful. Only 10mins walk to all main restaurants, supermarkets and other activities. Nice pool bar area and prices very reasonable. Would definitely stay here again if in Zante.

We arrived late after a 30 hour journey to be greeted by Dionysus who surprised us with a room upgrade. We had a villa with a beautiful deck and private pool overlooking the town. Beautiful room, incredible view. Breakfast was a feast of homemade pastries and jams, bacon, sausage and everything else you could want. The hotel is run by a lovely family ready to help you with anything you need and a smile on their face always. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Room was good but a little short on storage space, needed a few drawers. Free wiwi and safe. Kettle provided which was a surprise but cleaners only washed cups once during our weeks stay and never washed the glasses. Towels were regularly changed. Breakfast was adequate however more choice of cereal would have been appreciated. Staff were very helpful and always polite and hotel situated in a quiet area.

We are just home after a wonderful stay at Zante calinica hotel. We had one of the swim up rooms which was fantastic and across the road from the main building The bed was soooo comfortable and bedding was perfect and changed every other day. The towels which were all embellished with hotel’s logo were soft and changed every day I really can’t fault this hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and all staff on hand to help with anything you needed. What made the hotel for us personally was the family. Spiros and his wife soula have four wonderful children and they all do their bit. The eldest son Dionysus, who is a gem, runs the hotel amazingly well and does just about everything while his dad does all the maintenance and his mum all the cooking, which when you eat off the menu for lunch or snacks their portions are huge!!! We ate lunch most days and every time it was delicious. Dionysus girlfriend Demetra works every day also and is the so lovely friendly and helpful. Georgia their daughter was also there who just graduated as a dentist and was helping also. She is just so so lovely. Stathis the younger brother helps with bar and does all the baking as he is a qualified pastry chef. The youngest is still at school. Each one of them were just super friendly The hotel itself is situated at end of the resort so you are away from the hussle and bussle of resort if that suits you I would 100% recommend this hotel

Stayed for 10 days lovely hotel staff really friendly rooms nice unfortunately we were on 3 rd floor and as we both struggle with mobility we found the stairs were a little too much for us nice little pool bar with table service about a 15 minute walk down into tsilivi but there is a bar on the corner which we watched the euros on as our hotel didn’t have any football on

We arrived on the 3rd July, my wife and I. We were greeted by Dionysis (Denis) at reception who runs the hotel with his family. He showed us to our superior room with sea view which has steps from the balcony down to the pool area. This is a fantastic little hotel which offers peace and quiet but is close to the beach and the bars and restaurants. The breakfasts are lovely and offer the usual fry up if you wish but there is also an assortment of home made cakes and pastries which are wonderful. Denis’s mother and younger brother do the baking. The brother is a qualified pastry Chef! There’s tea and coffee plus fruit juices and as much savoury or sweet food you could want. The hotel is spotless and has a lovely little pool area and there are days when it’s like being in your own private villa. I recommend the Lynchburg Lemonade cocktail which is a specialty. The hotel is located at the top end of the main road near Tsivili water park and the closest bars and restaurants are a few minutes walk as is the beach. We will be back. 👍
