Hotel Löwen am See

Loved my stay at the Lowen hotel ticked all the boxes. The corner room was spacious with 4 big windows giving a reasonable view of the lake. The staff at reception were great. The location in the old town opposite the lake can't be beaten. Nice to find a family run hotel. My only grumble breakfast could be better especially the bakery quality and coffee. So hope next time I stay it will be improved then I can give 5 star

Nice renovated Hotel in Zug very close to the lake and also the center. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are nice - some are facing lake of Zug. It is a smaller, nice and cozy place - not that cheap, rather on the higher end of pricing, but this you know before... All in all it was nice and it is recommended as there are also hardly any alternatives around.

Actually the Loewe in Zug turns to be an institution. Located at a central place near the lake offer to the clients a unique experience, Swiss quality service, attention and value. The restaruant with a large menu, offers all types of dishes, we really enjoyed the service, that was garnet also to the success of the meetings held.

I stayed in this hotel quite a bit a few years ago and always enjoyed my stays. So I was looking forward to staying again whilst in Zug on business. First impressions were excellent with a warm welcome and efficient check in. The hotel has obviously been refurbished since my previous stay and the room was very good. The furniture was modern and comfortable, and additions such as the Nespresso machine were a nice touch. The bathroom was clean and the shower excellent. The bed was comfy and I slept well. Breakfast selection in the morning was good with plenty of choice. I have no complaints or issues about this hotel and would happily stay here again. Ands I have no problem recommending it.

I can't sum up how much I love this hotel- the staff are just the most professional, friendly, kind yet retain that family atmosphere which makes this hotel in this very special place so very special. The breakfast eggs and asparagus soup are out of this world, the food in the restaurant is just delicious, the views on the lake are to die for and I feel so happy and at home here - I just love the Lowen.

This hotel is located about a 20 minute walk from the central train station, is situated on a small plaza, and is adjacent to the lake. It is clean, modern, and highly efficiently operated. The rooms are moderately spacious with comfortable beds and pillows, a small desk for work, and free high speed wireless. There is an excellent coffee machine in the bed rooms and a spacious, modern bathroom.There is a relatively simple but healthy breakfast in the morning (with an option for eggs in addition to a cold buffet). I greatly enjoyed my stay and would definitely visit this hotel again.
