Geweldig hotel in het oude Zutphen zeker een aanrader om het te bezoeken

The room is nicely decorated - and the hotel is whithin walking distance of the train station. The only minor thing is the small shower head. Breakfast is excellent! And service at breakfast and reception is lovely and with a smile! The bar and restaurant had decent prices but only I went for a drink (or 2) and they served me nuts with it, so this is a plus for me.

I last came here 6 years ago. Still delivering a great level of service and it was another seamless trip. Great consistency! I definitely recommend it to anyone passing through this town, excellent location and good friendly service, nothing much else needed!

Medieval surroundings in a beautiful 12th century city, the rooms are modern and clean, would stay there again.

Entrance is nice and staff is friendly The rooms on the other hand are completely outdated. Bathroom, small, single sink, toilet in bathroom, bath with non adaptable shower head. The antique type of hair-dryer hanging there, i hadn’t t seen anymore for 15 years... completely old fashioned and useless Bed-comfort was ok, but also room very outdated. Coffee and tea in room, no water though. Rooms come with carton walls... every sound can be heard, so be prepared for an involuntary wake up in the morning. Parkin outside to be paid separately. Very old fashioned hotel

Grand old building, but rooms don't correspond with the style. Room we had was smallish, felt like cabin on cruise ship. Small but modern bathroom. Very comfortable beds, windows open, ample closet space, no decor to remember. Excellent "Dutch" buffet breakfast. No hotel parking. Walking distance to everything with downtown location and a museum is part of the hotel complex.

Prachtig hotel in centrum van Zutpen, parking € 3,00 per dag op 3 minuten lopen. Personeel heel vriendelijk, riant ontbijt en heerlijke diner's. Kamers heel rustig. De inloop naar de badkamer is niet fijn met een hoge opstap. Hier viel mijn vrouw over, met als gevolg een enorme buil en b loeduitstortingen in haar gezicht.

Erg prettig verblijf gehad in dit fijne hotel. Het gebouw is prachtig en ademt geschiedenis. Het is niet gehorig en we hebben heerlijk geslapen. Zeer comfortabel ook dat het in het centrum gelegen is. Bij terugkomst deden we nog een roséetje in de Brasserie. Heel fijn. We dachten even last van de kerkklokken van de naastgelegen kerk te gaan hebben, maar die staan zo zachtjes afgesteld dat je ze nauwelijks hoort (als ze op het hele en halve uur slaan). Op zaterdagmiddag luidden ze even volop, maar dat doen ze kennelijk alleen bij een speciale mis of gelegenheid. Parkeren kun je voor de deur, maar dat is wel prijzig. Het is eenvoudig om een stukje verderop te parkeren tegen een veel lager tarief. Zutphen is zeer goed ingericht met veel parkeergelegenheid om het centrum heen zodat je in de binnenstad weinig last hebt van autoverkeer. Zutphen zit vol verrassingen en je vindt mooie dingen om iedere hoek. Wij hebben genoten.

Mooie kamer in het nieuwe gedeelte. Goede bedden. Fijne badkamer. Goed verzorgd ontbijt. Met allergie werd rekening gehouden. Nogmaals bedankt. Ligging van het hotel perfect. Goed te bereiken met openbaar vervoer, 10 minuten lopen van het station.
