The rooms are generally quite good value for money with all the basic essentials. The service was generally quite good though some staff were noticeably more friendly than others. The location is ok but a bit of a walk from the marina and the ferries to the islands. The one major disappointment but this may have not been any fault of the hotel was the power cuts. There were several in one day and three of those occurred in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. You might be thinking well, if we were asleep, how did it affect us? Well, when the power cuts off the emergency lights kick in. When they came on, it woke us up. I understand the need for emergency lighting, but on that particular night we really didn’t sleep very night

Hotel has great facilities and was very clean, though we were disappointed to realise that due to unsafe cliffs, it no longer offered direct access to the beach. Service should really be improved for such an expensive hotel: 1. Reception gave us 2 twin beds even though we specifically made a request at booking for double bed 2. Restaurants got my coffee orders wrong on multiple occasions throughout the stay 3. During the saturday bbq night, the hostess Priscilla made up a poor excuse not to give us a poolside table even though we were one of the earliest guests there. Her excuse was the remaining poolside tables were reserved for 4 families with dogs. We didn't see a single dog during the entire course of 2 hours, and the tables were given away to other couples for reasons unknown. This incident really upset us, and the fact that she had the audacity to make up such an excuse is appalling. 4. Gratuity was charged at 7.5% for every item, which is fine but what left a bad taste in the mouth is the hotel did it without informing customers upfront.

Serviço muito bom. Adorámos conhecer este espaço, infelizmente a piscina interior estava fechada. O espaço estava limpo e todos os dias a senhora vinha fazer limpeza. Fica localizado um pouco afastado da zona centro cerca de 20min, mas para quem gosta de sossego é um sítio excelente. Todo o staff educado, esperamos voltar 🥰

Amazing value! Breakfast was great, and the sweet rice pudding was the best I have ever tasted. Room and bathroom in excellent condition, quiet and comfortable (I am in off season tho). Staff were friendly and helpful, and info is also provided in room. Was not sure at first because it is on the top of a hill so a climb to get to from town, but still only a 10 min walk and 5 mins walk from the cliffs for spectacular sunrises. Also a large free carpark opposite.

il posto è molto bello, le strutture piccole e datate,i mobili sono vecchi brutti e poco confortanti, le pulizie sono ottime,cambio biancheria asciugamani tutte le mattine,ben servito con bar ristorante piscina ampio spazio per i bambini,campo da tennis e vari giochi, comprende i biglietti del trenino per andare in spiaggia,il parcheggio è nelle vicinanze della casa,manutenzione verde e ottima, la mia esperienza è la seconda e penso che non ci ritornerò non c’è rapporto qualità/prezzo

Beautiful marina views and perfect location! We loved our stay at NH Marina Portimão – the location right on the marina is unbeatable. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely balcony overlooking the water. The pool area was great for relaxing, and it’s just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Ideal spot for exploring Portimão and Ferragudo. Would definitely stay here again!

Very friendly check in. Very clean rooms and public areas. Most satisfying and varied breakfast.

All good would of liked two bottles of water in room I not enough but that’s trivial…love everything about this hotel

Brilliantly located in Lagos, just set back from the port. Rooms are spotlessly clean and great amenities. Housekeeping crew tremendous and generally the staff are polite and on hand to help - 2 guys doing the concierge role were great. Breakfast was marvellous. The only downside to my stay, was the spa facilities: both the steam room and sauna were out of order and the small poolside jacuzzi, was rather hit and miss. That said, was great VFM and would certainly stay again.
