Tropicana Field is an enclosed indoor stadium that opened in 1990. It was designed specifically for baseball games and also hosts soccer and American football matches. The stadium is owned by the City of St. Petersburg, with the Tampa Bay Rays as its primary tenant. The building features a fiberglass roof and steel structure, covers an area of approx. 32,000 square meters, and can accommodate over 30,000 spectators. The interior of the stadium features four levels of seating with an expansive central view. The lower level is close to the field, while the upper level offers a panoramic view. Clearwater Beach
No. 17 of Best Things to Do in Florida

Clearwater Beach

6.5
4.8/5
26 reviews
Clearwater Beach is located on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. The stretch of white sand beach is made of fine, soft white quartz sand, which feels soft and clean under bare feet and doesn't get hot even in the heat; the bay has warm water and gentle waves, and the near-shore waters are shallow and calm, making it safe for children to play in the water, which is why it is a popular family-friendly destination. Pier 60, which extends into the sea, is a landmark of this beach. You can walk on the pier, watch people fishing, and sometimes even spot dolphins leaping out of the water. Around sunset every day, street performers and craft stalls gather near the pier, and people wait to watch the sun slowly sink into the Gulf of Mexico, painting the sea in shades of orange and gold. This long-standing sunset gathering is a signature scene here. During the day, you can also take a dolphin-watching boat tour, or try activities like paddleboarding, kayaking, and jet skiing.Clearwater Beach · 28.9 km from St. Petersburg

Tropicana Field had an unfair reputation of being a bad ballpark to most baseball fans. It’s always comfortable inside and you never have to worry about a game being rained out. The food has also gotten significantly better the last couple of years. Go Rays!#raysbaseball #baseball #MLB #sports

It's worth going. You can watch the sea, listen to music, enjoy the view, plant flowers, and enjoy delicious food and entertainment. It is the safest and most comfortable place for babies to relax and play. It can be called the Hawaii of the East.
