Renfe Group Fare

Groups of 4 to 9 people travelling on AVE or AVE International trains will receive an 8% discount. Groups of 10 to 25 people can get up to a 50% discount on AVE, AVE International, Avant, and Cercanías trains. For groups larger than 25 people, you can submit a quote for approval. Please note that all Renfe group tickets are non-changeable. If you need to cancel, the entire booking must be cancelled according to the original ticket's terms and conditions, and a fee will apply.

Renfe Spanish Large Families Fare

Renfe supports large families in Spain with discounted fares, offering 20% for general and 50% for special category families on AVE and Larga Distancia trains. However, these discounts are not valid on AVE International, Avant, or Cercanías trains. Additionally, single-parent families can enjoy discounts on Rodalies services in Catalonia by presenting a certificate issued by the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Renfe Children Fare

Renfe grants a 40% discount on ticket prices for children aged 4 to 13. These children can select seats on AVE, AVE International, and Avant trains, and they can make changes or get refunds according to the ticket type, potentially incurring a fee. Children under four travel for free but do not receive a reserved seat. Please note that, on Cercanías trains, children under six can travel for free without a reserved seat.

Renfe Young Persons Fare

Young people aged 14 to 25 can enjoy up to 30% off train fares with the Más Renfe Joven Card, which costs €50. This card, valid for a year and non-transferable, offers a 30% discount on AVE and AVE international trains. Additionally, get a 25% discount on Avant, Cercanías, and Rodalies trains.

Renfe Disabled People Fare

Renfe offers discounts for disabled individuals, providing up to 40% off. By purchasing a Tarjeta Dorada for €6, you can travel on AVE, Avant, and Cercanías trains for one year. Note that the discount on Avant trains is higher on weekends. Refunds or changes to your ticket depend on the type of ticket and may involve a fee.

Básico

Básico is the least expensive fare available on AVE trains, and it comes with no refund or change options.

Elige Estándar

The Elige Estándar fare on AVE trains is a bit more expensive compared to the Básico fare. This ticket option includes the ability to get 70% refund of the original ticket price and make one free change, along with several extra paid services.

Elige Confort

Elige Confort is a bit pricier than Elige Estándar. The primary distinction is the wider seats, and it also offers the option for refunds and changes.

Prémium

As the most expensive fare, Prémium includes unlimited free changes and refunds, and XL Confort Seating.
