"This hotel was a fall back for me I’m glad I chose to go here after a disappointing hotel I arrived to originally and I should have booked here first. Hotel is located centrally and close to local bars and shopping areas. The members of staff I met were all lovely and very helpful! The room was spotless. The only issues I had was there was no shampoo just shower gel and the heating in the room didn’t get to full temp but at this time of year the heating was not a huge deal! I stayed in room 201 so it was situated close to the lift but was far enough away to not be disturbed by the sound of it. Will be staying here again"

"Booked this hotel to attend conference nearby. Loved the Signature room, which was big with seating area. Complimentary bottle of wine, or substitute with bottles of non-alcoholic drinks was nice touch. Pastries provided at the lounge made for quick and easy breakfast option. Enjoyed the swimming pool, jet pool, sauna and hot steam room in the Health club. Area around Resort is also very big, walking along the woodlands trail to the Golf club was therapeutic. Stay Signature room, worth the additional upgrade."

"Convenient hotel location for the the nearby ICC convention centre. Staff was helpful and rooms were clean and quiet. Air conditioning was working initially when experiencing the heatwave but that got fixed and felt cooler afterwards. Breakfast and meals in the restaurant were good with a spread of choices. Room wifi was weak and drops off frequently and could be improved upon."

"I stayed here for eight nights from July 19th to 27th and never felt uncomfortable or out of place. The hotel rooms and towels were exceptionally clean. Though the breakfast menu remained the same daily, the freshness of the offerings made it enjoyable every morning. Parking was tight at times, but I always managed to find a spot with peace of mind. I visit Wales nearly every year, and it looks like I’ll be returning to this hotel again next year."

"Always spotlessly clean. Reception always very nice. Rooms have all you need. Comfortable and Clean. USB sockets, reading lights and lamps, Samsung 32” Smart TV compatible with with mobile phones, tablets and pc/lap. Desk with desk lamp and luggage storage along with open wardrobe and bedside drawers/unit. Large full size mirror. The Queen size bed is comfortable and has plenty of pillows/bedding. Bathroom is one of the best I have seen In hotels with modern and clean fittings. Subway tiling with chrome finish fittings, large bath with waterfall shower and over bath shower attachment for when just your hair needs washing. Huge fitted mirror with lighting and ample space for your toiletries etc. Towel rail and door hooks all complete the better than most bathroom. Towels and toiletries/hand wash/kettle and mugs, glasses, quality hangers and the attention to details all complete a good value room. The hotel flows on to the pub/ restaurant. Being Green King the food is all good. An extensive food and drinks menu. Easy and user friendly app allows ordering from your table for food and drinks. Overall the convenience of both hotel and bar with good service and good value a highly recommendable place to stay whether your here for business, leisure or just a night or two r&r The New Inn @ Green King always hits the mark. If you have breakfast with room it's served at the restaurant with hot & cold options Continental and Full English. Both perfectly presented and quality products. Parking for guests is free and input of car registration avoids any after stay fees."

"Wow what can I say last minute booking so not expecting much But as soon as you walk in the staff make you feel so very welcome even had free refreshments in reception The lift security and your card very important on your own Room was fabulous clean and wonderful view and lovly tribute to Newport transporter bridge TV didn’t work but was moved with no fuss to another room Able to sit on terrace in sun Then evening meal was served by friendly staff even boxed up rest of meal as do much Bed very comfortable Shower was a bonus not to claim into a bath to be accessible Breakfast very good and agsin helpful staff with a smile Definitely recommend a stay here well done to all the staff"

"Some of the frontline staff charged me a different card payment than the booking agent had agreed to. This made me feel very confused. Fortunately, their senior management, Mr. Deepy, listened patiently to my explanation and understood my discounted room rate. He explained everything clearly and eased my worries. After a few days, the card was finally charged correctly."

"Das Hotel ist neu, sehr sauber und verfügt über äußerst freundliches Personal. Es liegt etwas außerhalb der Stadt, was für meinen Aufenthalt anlässlich des Cardiff Halbmarathons ideal war. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet, ebenso das Abendessen. Mein Zimmer war in einwandfreiem Zustand. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert – ich komme gerne wieder."
