The hotel located in the next station from kinugawa onsen. I have booked one night here. The hotel provided japanese gown in room for yukata to all guests. Badly they provide male apparel for us. The staff who saw always gossip very bad experience. However, Staff at breakfast floor is very nice. He can't speak English but I feel his kindness.

Arriving at the train station, I found out the shuttle bus for the hotel wouldn't arrive for another 45 minutes, so we opted to walk there. It takes about half an hour but going uphill in the blazing sun was a bit torturous. The driveway is also very steep, so beware if you have a lot of baggage. Hotel has a wealth of history. It hosted a lot of famous guests in the early 20th century. Modern hotels are sterile in comparison. It's an old building, so is draughty and full of ancient furniture. This may be a turnoff for some but I found it completely charming.

１泊２日の短期間一人旅でしたが、部屋は広いし、湯加減もまあまあ良く、そこそこ満足できる温泉ホテルでした。何より一部の時間帯を除いていつでも温泉に入れるのは大変ありがたく思います。

新しい事もありますが、本当に素晴らしいホテルで、スタッフの皆様の対応も気持ちよく利用出来ました ただ、浴室のキャパが狭過ぎて、特に女性側はいつも混雑していて入りたい時に入れなかったのだけが難点でした 時期的なものも有るとは思いますし改善も難しい所ですが、別棟の大浴場とかあったら最高です リアルタイムで混雑状況を確認出来るシステムは素晴らしいと思います 勝手な要望ばかりですみません ほんとは満点つけさせていただきたい素晴らしいホテルです。ありがとうございました

We stayed for 2 nights. Lovely view as it’s right on the lake. The food was good - served in the main restaurant area. Only thing I would say is that the onsen area was not heated when we arrived so it was quite cold. The lock/handle to the outdoor onsen was broken too. Otherwise a nice stay

The hotel is great! The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with many facilities like karaoke, a game center, and more. I visited with my family, a total of 14 people, and they were able to arrange a private room for us for both dinner and breakfast. Both meals were buffet-style and absolutely delicious. The onsen experience was wonderful, and the view from the onsen was fantastic, with a beautiful view of the Kinugawa River. However, there was one issue: when we checked in, the reception took our passports for photocopying. Unfortunately, they missed returning one of the passports to us. It wasn’t until after we checked out and reached our next stop that we realized one passport was missing. We had to go back to the hotel to take it. Despite this, the overall experience was great, and I would still recommend the hotel.

This appears to be a new hotel only 11 minutes walk from the train station. It was probably the tallest building in town. The room was very clean as well as the facilities. We arrived at 2:00 and were hoping they would let us check in early but we could only check in, but had to wait until 3:00 to go to the room. They made others wait as well. They did have free alcohol from 6:00-9:00pm in the lobby. The breakfast was okay but not much variety. The room was nice, but probably the smallest I have stayed in while in Japan. It was a quick train ride to Ashikaga Flower Park which was nice since that was the reason we came here. The bed wasn’t soft but it wasn’t terribly hard either. Over all, a decent place to stay except for the size of the room.

first of I would like to thanks always trip.com for very nice & convinient bookings everytime,we stay new sakura hotel,because the interior of the hotel is mostly sakura theme,the carpet,the gorgeous chandelier, the wall design,etc.or cherry blossom in Japan,& so very affordable prize,we spend only 18,000 yen for 2 adults,with 2 breakfast & 2 dinner.Very near from kinugawa onsen station,only 3 hrs.from Tokyo.We amazed the room,so very big for the two of us,for very cheap prize,can accomodate even 10 person,the buffet breakfast & dinner also is so good but the most I want to share is the drink all you can alcohol beverages for 1 hour,like beer,japanese wine,sours, all kinds of softhdrinks,I enjoyed for self service alcohol drink all you can!the hotspring also is very good but the cons is take care in the outdoor spring because of the concrete stairs,especially for the elderly when slippery,there's & a little bit far from our room,the young staff also at the counter is nice & most of them are young japanese lady,so very entertaining,so many free amusement like billiard,majong,etc.with a nice sorrounding sightseeng site.& last after check out they give 2000 yen discount coupon for the next visit,Thanks God & trip.com for a nice autumn tour moment in kinugawa onsen Tochigi Perfecture Japan

部屋は特に問題無いが洗面がちょっと古いのでカビ臭いとか洗面のコンセントにホコリが溜まっていたりがあった。 我慢できる範囲ではあるが、綺麗だったらもっと気分がよかったと思う。
