Hotel Solar BOM Jesus was the perfect home base for my adventures in Madeira! 🏞️ The location is unbeatable - just steps from the iconic BOM Jesus church and a short walk to the lively town center. My single room was cozy and spotlessly clean. 🛀 The staff went above and beyond, always greeting me with a smile and quick to provide recommendations. The basic but well-appointed facilities had everything I needed. I'd happily stay here again on my next trip! 👍

I booked this hotel as part of our week long trip in Madeira due to its proximity to the airport. The location was perfect and the hotel was spotless with an amazing hot shower. The small town where the hotel is located has plenty of little cute bars and restuarants too. Big shout out to the guy who was working doing the Karaoke during our stay - he was providing top entertainment in multiple languages and I loved it!

Nous sommes arrivés vers 1h00 du matin et avons été très bien accueillis. Le réceptionniste nous a conduits à notre chambre avec le sourire. Dans la chambre, une bouteille d'eau, du café et du thé sont à disposition gratuitement. Le jardin est très bien entretenu, le personnel du restaurant est très agréable. Le parking est facilement accessible.

Este hotel está muy lejos de las 4 estrellas que presenta. Quizás hace 20 años le correspondían, pero a día de hoy presenta las instalaciones antiguas, la habitación estaba limpia pero muy desgastada. Incluso la tarima del suelo, hasta los azulejos del baño desgastados.

O Porto Santo Hotel & Spa é uma escolha excelente para quem procura descanso e tranquilidade. Apesar de ser um hotel modesto, é extremamente confortável e acolhedor. Destaco especialmente a simpatia e disponibilidade do staff, que torna a experiência ainda mais agradável. E o bar de praia? Simplesmente espetacular — perfeito para aproveitar o pôr do sol com uma bebida na mão. Recomendo!

Localização ótima com várias atividades, restaurantes em redor 👌🏼

Room is spacious with balcony. Outside the hotel, there are public buses going to Funchal center. It's also located in the shopping area with restaurants and supermarkets. You can sit at rooftop to have a sea view. Breakfast buffet is good. Airport is less than half hour on taxi.

The location on the ocean is breathtaking and that is my main take away. Everything else was perfectly fine. My only disappointment was the on site pools were closed during our stay. Was told they were being cleaned but I never saw any such activity.

The suites are located on southern beach strip of the island, accessible by 2 buses or a taxi from the ferry port. Staff was very friendly, although not always aware of things when we asked some questions, but they did endeavour to find out. The bathroom does not have an exhaust fan, and needs some work and the rooms could do with some fresh paint. But overall very nice and comfortable, clean large outdoor pool, plenty of send beds, and umbrellas and beds directly on the beach with lifeguard on duty. The breakfast was tasty too with plenty of options. Would stay again
