They offers a budget-friendly stay at under $12 USD per night per person. The beds are a bit tight; as a girl, I found it cool enough to sleep comfortably, but my boyfriend found it too hot, so we couldn’t share a bed. The rooms are mixed dorms and get very smelly each night, though the inside of the cabin beds is okay. Apart from a locker, you only have the space of your cabin bed, and no towels are provided.
The bathroom is shared with others on the same floor and tends to get messy in the evening, although I noticed it being cleaned every morning. Unfortunately, the bins are always full, which is gross, and there’s hair everywhere. The lobby on my floor was cluttered with luggage and felt damp because it’s connected to the bathroom.
I booked this place because it looked good in the photos, but the reality was a bit different. The common area on the ground floor is kind of cute but also a little dirty. The photos make it look much better than it is, but given the low price, I can’t complain too much.
Please note that it’s a walk-up, so if you want to avoid stairs, you might need to pay more.
This is easily the most well laid out hostel I've ever stayed in. There are plenty of showers and toilets, the beds are comfortable, sturdy, and spacious. There are huge lockers that can easily fit your suitcase, with a shelf inside so your locker doesn't have to be a total mess. The lockers are separate from the beds, and there is a space outside the rooms so you can pack up in the morning without disturbing those who are sleeping.
They send you instead for self-check in which is fine. But when you face issues with your stay then there’s no one you can directly talk to, someone from the dorm took the bed fhat was assigned to me by mistake so I just took another bed instead but the bedsheets had hair on them. I think they need to check their washing machine because the sheets seemed clean and washed so maybe the machine just needs maintenance. It’s good for budget stays with free washing machine to use, kitchen and water dispenser.
Great hostel very conveniently located very close to the Naha pier that can get you to the Keramashoto National Park And Zamami Islands!
Can easily walk to the nearest Family Mart convenience store and a fish market for eats and drinks.
The owner of Ohana guesthouse is amazing! The kindest and most hospitable man i have met. Even though his english is not all that good he really listens with interest and tries to connect. He cooks every night and you're invited to join for a very low price. When we ate together (Hotpot) and everyone was speaking japanese he kept trying to include me in the conversation. When i left after two days he even waved goodbye from the stairs till i turned the corner.
The cabins were spacious and had a little fan and a mirror with a ledge inside, which is super nice! The toilets and showers were clean and nice and the little wash area was super cute and had everything you could want. the kitchen has everything you need to cook for yourself but for 200/400/800¥ you can join dinner so i didnt cook.
Hands down the coziest guesthouse i have been, massive reccomendations!
For the price it is a fantastic hostel if you are fine with thinner beds and limited facilities. I spent most of my time out and about so it was perfect but if you intend to spend more time in your hostel i would pick elsewhere. It was a great place to stay to save your money for food or travel.
Location is great, in a quiet neighbourhood, walkway to all attractions. Facilities are well kept and clean, and staff are extremely helpful. The dorm rooms could get noisy at night with late-arrivers unpacking their bags and settling in, but that’s what I signed up for so can’t really complain
The host was welcoming and the entire guest house has a laid back atmosphere
Plenty of drinks and snacks available but no eating in the building , due to risk of ants - please have your food and drinks outside at the table area
Beautiful stars at Taketomi island at night if the skies are clear

MMisafir KullanıcıThe location of the hotel is very convenient if you are in Naha on vacation, close to restaurants, a monorail station and the bus station. The services that the hotel provides are good, in particular the pyjamas and slippers they offer for free, and it is commendable their effort to have the bathrooms always impeccable. As a negative point, I must say that the mattresses are extremely hard.

TTanate86Good location near big supermarket.
Airport Limousine bus 810 Yen From Naha airport to La'gent Hotel , Chatan , then walk 8- 10 minutes to the hostel.
They have a washing machines too. (use coins ).
MMisafir KullanıcıNice comfy cozy room with a queen bed. You can see the stars at night. Check in was unique, used a tablet PC to video chat with a receptionist who verified your identity and then guided you through the checkin checkout process. If you are headed east, there aren’t any convenience stores, so grab enough food before you arrive. There were camping grills and chairs available that I did not use. There was a croissant with butter provided in my room fridge when I arrived. I grabbed a free hot coffee from the checkin lobby
HHello_tripOnly the best impressions from staying in a hostel. How to visit a Japanese house with good hosts. 💖 You need to follow the rules so that everyone is clean and comfortable: sort the garbage, do not enter the house in shoes, it's easy. In a separate fenced room there is air conditioning, a clothes hanger, a futon, a pillow and a light blanket, that's enough. There is a shared refrigerator, you can fry toast, shower and toilet separately for men and women. There is a good store next to the hostel, a place for snorkeling, you can buy coffee. From the airport you can get there by bus 7 or with a transfer first by bus 9, then bus 7. If I can, I will come again!❤️
SSara.KIf you check in late (after 9pm) They don’t let you stay even already paid in advance.
So, I did. We have to find another hotel instead. But staff was nice to suggest another hotel.
