The Coffee House Hotel

Nice little hotel in the city centre of Aberdeen. In the middle of Union Street. Short walk to everything. The rooms looks new and clean, the staff is friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. The price is good also. I am surely gonna stay here again for my next stay in Aberdeen.

Excellent location and price, room was nice and warm on a cold night, comfy bed, easy check in and hosts contactable by text message and very responsive. For a 4 star hotel, some real coffee instead of instant coffee would have been a room provision I'd have loved. Otherwise, this room did the job fine but it didn't quite feel like a 4 star experience. However, this is reflected in the price which was great.

Stayed last night very nice room with large comfortable bed . Great location for pubs/restaurants Price very competitive for city centre and easy check in by text..room only but yea/coffee and biscuits provided and plenty of places nearby for breakfast

If your definition of a hotel involves a reception with attentive staff available on a landline and in person, then this is not the place for you. If you want to turn up in the evening and expect someone to greet you, go elsewhere. But it does exist, it is not a scam and you can get in at night - as long as you contact the owners on one of their mobile numbers ahead of time. If you want somewhere central and clean where you can rest your head, Coffee House could be your cup of tea.

Amazing service and great, clean, rooms. Shower was amazing! Would recommend to families, romantic getaways and friend trips! As 5 students we felt it was in the perfect location to see all the sights but also close to the night life!

Honestly, I think it's a SCAM. Booked a room online. It was hard to find, first of all. It's on a tiny dark alley. Once we finally found it, it was 10:15pm. There was only a door, no sign, door was locked, buzzed the telecom, no one answered. Called the phone number on the confirmation, no one answered. None of the neighboring pubs had heard of it. We were left scrabbling to find a hotel. Go ahead, try calling this hotel, you will not get an answer. I would AVOID it entirely!

This hotel is centrally located being a short walk from the train and bus stations and also minutes away from His Majesty's Theatre, which was important for our stay. It is situated along a small lane off a very busy and social street with lots of pubs along it. Needless to say that makes it busy and loud into the small hours of the night. Our tip is: make sure you close your window to reduce the noise. The room was large and spacious with a firm bed, which we found extremely comfortable. The en suite was clean and some small toiletries supplied. There are also facilities for making tea and coffee, although it would have been nice to have more milk. There is a hair dryer and also a TV. If you need an ironing board and iron there was one in the corridor, which I presume was for all to use. It could be our own fault but we didn't see a bell to ring at the door to the hotel or a sign to say where to get the attention of the staff, so we went to the Coffee Shop itself to say that we had a booking. That didn't seem to be a problem though as we were quickly taken through to the hotel and our keys given to us along with a code to get in the hotel door. We knew that thee were no breakfast facilities per se but you can go to the Coffee House downstairs. However, it opened too late in the morning for us but it would have been nice if there was earlier access, if only for the guests. However, it may be that not everyone wants this facility so it isn't a viable option as the hotel consists of a very few rooms. We would recommend it and would certainly stay there again - this time closing our window!

Stayed here for the weekend. Nice clean rooms with everything you need. Housekeeper was friendly and helpful. Host text to make sure we all got our keys okay. Perfect location if you’re going on a night out or shopping We had some breakfast in the cafe. Was very busy and the staff were running around but we got our food and it was great.
