"This is a worn down hotel . You have to climb a flight of stairs to your room. Breakfast was dismal and very sad, bedding was very old and lights in the oddest places . It’s not my first choice for abuja but it was the only available place in a pinch . You can get better at thoes prices"

"From arrival, the concierge were at their best. The receptionist who checked us in took time to explain how the hotel works, the gym, spa, breakfast and lunch times. They had detox/lemon water stationed at the lobby so you could sip and cool off while being checked in. The rooms were beautiful. Room service top notch. I enjoyed the experience. It was a business stay, but I look forward to staying with them again during my next visit to the capital city"

"We had a lovely stay at the Lake Greenfield Hotel after a long trip from the USA. The check in was initially rough as the front desk was moving slowly and having issues using our international credit cards. Once that was figured out, we got a brief tour of the facilities then taken up to our rooms. Room was very spacious and comfortable. We ordered room service and the food was delicious. They even had an evening service when they came to rooms giving out a plate of cookies...almost like a tea time! Never seen that before. We stayed one night before continuing onto Benin City so didn't explore everything the hotel had to offer. The hotel was only 7 months old when we visited so they will only get better with time. I would stay here again. They still have construction ongoing in their lobby and had to enter through a side door. The location of the hotel was up and coming as there wasn't much around. But I did see the potential of growth. We had to ask for washcloths as they weren't in the bathroom."

"Stayed a few days for conference in February. Most staff were friendly. Check in speed was reasonable, though counter level at main reception is unusually high and uninviting. Super Deluxe room, though out-of-date (furnishings, carpet), was clean with comfortable bed, sitting area, and work space. Bath had adequate hot water & clean towels. Shower is high step to enter - could be challenge for some people. Laundry service was efficient. Restaurant served good dishes for special meals, but breakfast area (included in price) was underwhelming: no filter coffee, omelets often took kitchen 15 minutes and sometimes never appeared, and fruit selection looked sad, tired. Buffet line is very congested, slow moving and cramped. Hotel layout is confusing - includes uneven steps when moving between wings of building. Pool was refreshing, area appeared to be well maintained. Internet performed adequately - usual drops when mains switches to generator and back. Overall - an OK Property with adequate security. "

" My stay at Grand Pela Hotel was amazing, very peaceful and rejuvenating environment . Staff at the reception were extremely polite and helpful out of the way, my check in with my family was very fast and wasn't delayed at all. the rooms were extremely neat and well arranged as well as also well appointed. The swimming pool looks amazing and I loved the music that was being played as it was of different cultures. Buffet was lovely and offers a great variety of food, the staff at the hotel were helpful when asked for help. In fact everything in the hotel was superb, because I truly enjoyed Unmatched Experience that meets international standards."
