It's a little far from the town. If you take a taxi, it will cost about $ 10. The hotel facilities are complete and clean. I don't clean the room every day, I feel very good and protect privacy. If you need cleaning, you can tell at the hotel front desk. Dinner was great too. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the beach as well as coles. The hotel also has a shuttle service, which is great overall and good value for money.

Because I had mistaken the flight for the original three nights and turned into two nights, I called the front desk, and the duty manager Gene was very good to give up the first night’s room rate, bringing a bad episode to the trip. The stock is clear; but the hotel is generally clean, a bit far from the port of airlie, walking for half an hour, taxi 10 knife, go out is a taxi can also accept; bad is too many ants, 8-6 points The time is almost no service, gave an emergency call, may only solve the big thing like fire or life, our room is not quilt, we don’t plan to solve it once, hang up once, the attitude is very bad, if not Gene, then nice This hotel is absolutely three points. In the case of the question of the quilt, it is fair ok. Children love the outdoor pool.

The room is clean, the central commercial center is downstairs, and it is close to the sea pier.

Sarah welcomed me very warmly and made check-in easy especially with a complementary bottle of good wine. The room was immaculately clean and tidy with everything I needed for a great holiday. Tina made sure I was ok and had what I needed from milk to fresh towels every day. Only a short walk to the town centre to enjoy great food and good coffee with wonderful atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and I felt at home for the week of my stay. I will be telling all my good friends to come and stay and experience the scenic beauty of the waterfront, friendly towns people and wonderful holiday experience. I have travelled the world and been on all seven continents and my restful stay at Waterfront Whitsunday Retreat is at the top of my favourite list of places to visit. I truely recommend this retreat to anyone who wants a great holiday.

Oh boy, that's a beautiful island! Fantastic nature - wallabies, butterflies, birds, abundant sea life. State of the art architecture of the Atrium. Artificial reefs where you can explore the same species as while snorkelling on the real reef just off the beach, but with closer view :). The cocktails might have been a bit better, but that's the only complaint. Corals under your feet on the beach are chiming like tiny bells. Free snorkelling gear. Nice experience from the very moment you step off from the ferry till you board it. Definitely recommend to spend some time on the island if you love nature while staying in comfort. And yes, the place is very instagrammable :)

We drove up from Melbourne towing our boat and stayed in a deluxe 2 bedroom cabin (sleeps 6) for 5 nights 26/6/23 to 1/7/23 - It was INCREDIBLE. This was our best family holiday so far. 2 adults and 2 kids (5 and 2). Our cabin was right next to the park and jumping pillow which was perfect! The play equipment was great and kept the kids entertained for hours as well as all the other kids staying in the park. Boat was easy to park just behind our cabin, others had parked their trailers/caravans there too so plenty of room while you’re there for storage. Our cabin was stunning. It was huge, full kitchen, lounge, dinner table, bathroom with a washer and dryer, tvs in both bedrooms and the lounge! Everything was super comfy and worked smoothly without issues. So good to be able to relax in your own space with everything you need and not take any dirty washing home! Only minor comment is that there was free wifi but it’s temperamental so we weren’t able to connect at all - didn’t bother us but just so you know. The pool was crystal clear salt water, huge, toddler pool also and a water park. Not heated so lovely and refreshing! The kids and us were fully entertained and enjoyed hours splashing in both. These facilities far outweigh other parks in the area and I wouldn’t choose any other park with kids. Hands down the way to go. The grounds are pristine and well kept, lush and so beautiful. So much space to play and walk and enjoy. Pedal carts were fun and games room took spare change haha! Reception staff always kind and helpful ready to go above and beyond. We had booked a room and tried to change it online but had issues through the booking company and extra fees. When we checked in they advised they upgraded us for free! AMAZING!! We rode into town for dinner and sightseeing a few nights/days and it was 3.5km, an easy ride our 5 year old managed no issues. Jubilee tavern is super close and has an awesome playground for kids. Also a great skate park just up from that and in Airlie an epic park too.so convenient to the park. We 300% recommend Discovery Parks Airlie Beach and WILL DEFINITELY be back to stay many more times. The Mirage is a gorgeous hotel with modern rooms and breathtaking views. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment (room 53) which overlooked the sea and the pool. The apartment was spacious and had all amenities. It’s a 5min cab ride to the main ***** in Airlie Beach which costs $10 each way. The hotel also offer a free shuttle at 10:30am and 2:30pm daily which was handy. Now to go over the not so great aspects of hotel. The rug in room 53 is stained, dirty and I had to ask for someone to come up to vacuum it when I arrived because I didn’t want my baby crawling on it. Even with the vacuum it was still disgusting. The rug needs to go! The bed heads need to be replaced as the material is flaking and gets all over the bed. The shower screens were not cleaned at all. Standard of cleaning must be improved. The breakfast is pretty average, presentation, quality and variety needs to be improved. The portable clothes line in our laundry was old and broken, needed to be thrown out and not offered to guests in that state. Overall we had an enjoyable stay.

I booked at short notice and just managed to get an apartment. Family emergency! I was in Airlie on ” family business' and so appreciated meeting Pam (the owner?) and settling in quickly. I have always love the Mango House. It has such a positive, special ”tropical vibe” I've eyed off for the past 16 yrs on my countless visits there. My apartment was clean, comfortable and over-looked the pool. As a solo woman traveller, I loved it. It was very calming. Felt safe, accessible & quiet accommodation. Perfect for me.! Comfortable! I was confidently left to myself to ”get on with the business” !! It may not suit Sheraton Hotels 5 star travellers...nor those who want a butler!! However, being ex Sydney and appreciating the ”good things in life” it was perfect for me!!! Close enough to Airlie shops, good restaurants, beautiful walks.....really amazing!!! I'll be back as soon as I can!!!

We absolutely loved this place. To stay Monica on the desk was so helpful and is honestly a great asset to the holiday park! We stayed in the tropical villa which is so spacious and has aircon in each room. Within 10 minutes of us arriving me cancelled out next accommodation in Airlie Beach and booked another night at the reception desk in the villa. The pool was great and the bird feeding was very cool. This park would be incredible for family’s, but even us, as a group of friends loved it! The only downside was the walk to the centre of Airlie, it’s a good 20 minute walk in the heat, we chose to taxi to save ourselves. Overall it’s a beautiful holiday park , I would recommend to anybody coming to Airlie😊
