Had a really great stay! The hotel is on the West Bank of Luxor which is really beautiful and is nice and quiet. It is close to the Valley of the Kings and also close to the nile which was super convenient. The staff were super friendly and helpful! I forgot my phone charger and one of the staff members let me borrow one from them which I thought was so sweet. The staff were always around to help and were very accommodating. Ate at the hotel restaurant the whole trip and the food was really good. Fahd helped with all of the tours and getting a driver and really went above and beyond to make my trip amazing. The hotel has two pools and the rooftop has beautiful views of the valley and the hot air balloons in the morning. All in all I was very happy with my stay :)

The very best place to stay in Louxor! highly recommended! It is close to most of the important sites of Louxor, (Valley of King, Valley of the Queens, Valley of the Workers, Ramasseum, Hatchepsout Temple, Abu Temple and son on..) most of them are less than 5 minutes with the car. The hotel is very nice and extremely clean and has everything you may need including a swimming pool! It is confortable, quality of the bed is excellent and views from the rooms to the fields and the desert is just a continuous pleasure especially at sunset! But the best of this hotel is Said, the owner of the place with his efficient and kind staff. Said will take care of you all the time, he will give you his best attention, will organize all kind of services, car, transportation, boats, excursions at a very reasonable price and at any time. You will be treated as family! The food of the restaurant is delicious, everything is home made, all products are fresh! Can’t wait until next year to come again for a longer time!! Thank you soo much for your hostility and help during our stay. All the staffs and owner is very helpful, entire hotel is very clean inside and outside, great sunrise view, hot air balloon view and breakfast from the restaurant and roof top. There is also a pool table and barbeque area on roof top. Nice and quite location, there are some shops at doorsteps. During our stay, my wife was coughing at restaurant and the owner notice and provide some kind of herbal drink as remedy, which really works well unbelievable. The owner also arrange a boat trip to banana island by calling the boat man to the hotel to negotiate the price by our self.

Luxor is a tale of two cities. The East side of Nile is (historically) more developed and like a medium size city. The West side of Nile is the valley of the dead, so its basically a village, all with crops, dirt roads and horse / camel stables. Most of the attractions (except for the Karnak and Luxor temples) are on the West side, and there is only one bridge to cross the Nile. The location of the bridge is very inconvenient. That's why we decided to stay on the West side. Alhambra is a nice hotel in the middle of a very rural setting. The hotel is nice considering the price you pay. Staff is very cooperative. We added the breakfast to our stay which was cheap. The rooms were clean, but not like a 5 star hotel. There was no iron or ironing board, so if you need to iron your clothes, you need to drop them at a (nearby) laundry store. The hotel looks just like the pictures from inside, but its on a small dirt road, with a couple of other similar hotels. Overall its a good budget option on the west side of the Nile.

Had a really great stay! The hotel is on the West Bank of Luxor which is really beautiful and is nice and quiet. It is close to the Valley of the Kings and also close to the nile which was super convenient. The staff were super friendly and helpful! I forgot my phone charger and one of the staff members let me borrow one from them which I thought was so sweet. The staff were always around to help and were very accommodating. Ate at the hotel restaurant the whole trip and the food was really good. Fahd helped with all of the tours and getting a driver and really went above and beyond to make my trip amazing. The hotel has two pools and the rooftop has beautiful views of the valley and the hot air balloons in the morning. All in all I was very happy with my stay :)

Thank you soo much for your hostility and help during our stay. All the staffs and owner is very helpful, entire hotel is very clean inside and outside, great sunrise view, hot air balloon view and breakfast from the restaurant and roof top. There is also a pool table and barbeque area on roof top. Nice and quite location, there are some shops at doorsteps. During our stay, my wife was coughing at restaurant and the owner notice and provide some kind of herbal drink as remedy, which really works well unbelievable. The owner also arrange a boat trip to banana island by calling the boat man to the hotel to negotiate the price by our self.

Luxor is a tale of two cities. The East side of Nile is (historically) more developed and like a medium size city. The West side of Nile is the valley of the dead, so its basically a village, all with crops, dirt roads and horse / camel stables. Most of the attractions (except for the Karnak and Luxor temples) are on the West side, and there is only one bridge to cross the Nile. The location of the bridge is very inconvenient. That's why we decided to stay on the West side. Alhambra is a nice hotel in the middle of a very rural setting. The hotel is nice considering the price you pay. Staff is very cooperative. We added the breakfast to our stay which was cheap. The rooms were clean, but not like a 5 star hotel. There was no iron or ironing board, so if you need to iron your clothes, you need to drop them at a (nearby) laundry store. The hotel looks just like the pictures from inside, but its on a small dirt road, with a couple of other similar hotels. Overall its a good budget option on the west side of the Nile.
