EEthel RoperFrom the time we step out of our car, we were warmly welcomed by Geoffrey. It was my daughters birthday and I arranged with the lodge a package to celebrate her. They made the day so special for her with her room decorated with flowers, song and dance in the evening with a birthday cake - it was an unforgettable day!
The rooms where charming and clean. We were very much taken care of for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lovely swimming pool and massage facilities.
I am so grateful to all that made me and my family feel welcomed and cared for.

Excellent
Excellent service and warm hospitality, plus probably one of the best locations in Amboseli. We stayed here 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room was comfortable and the resort grounds are beautiful, with lots of flowers birds baboons and monkeys. We did a 2 day safari and saw so many elephants, not to mention the huge band of 29 elephants that grazes in front of the resort. Unfortunately Mount Kilimanjaro was always cloud covered, but it was still beautiful with the green swamp and lake in front of tee resort. We saw almost every type of animal, including Over 50 elephants, lions, Cape buffalo, gazelles, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, hippopotamus, baboons, monkeys, and so many birds. Absolutely delightful! The food was good and plentiful, but all buffet while we were there. Rooms were slightly dated, but had a lot of character, including romantic mosquito draped beds. A perfect place to relax, swim in the pool, and be close to nature. Much thanks to Ishmael and John who made our stay very special.

I stayed here in July for the first two nights of my Safari adventures and what a start! As soon as my jeep arrived at the front door, I was met with such a warm, friendly welcome, a towel to freshen up & a lovely cold drink. Very easy check in & then shown to my room with all the lodge’s amenities & meal times explained en route. My room was perhaps the furthest from Reception & that really didn’t matter as I strolled through lovely planted gardens & palm trees, occupied by lots of monkeys! My room was on the ground floor with views of the waterhole & I could just step off my terrace on to the garden in front. The room is well appointed with everything you’ll need & very comfy bed. A nice surprise was the turndown each evening. On my first visit to the restaurant I was impressed with being given a lovely table to the side of the open air veranda which as a solo traveler, meant a great deal so I wasn’t overwhelmed & overlooked by other parties & I could actually enjoy a great view of the garden & all the restaurant’s activities. I was given the same table for all my meals & was served by a lovely young lady for them all. The buffet offerings at all meals were very well presented & very tasty. Amboseli, by comparison, is a smaller park yet still huge but means the concentration of animals are spread out over shorter distances but still incredibly abundant so you won’t be disappointed. A wonderful stay & would definitely recommend here. Thanks to all the Team for making my stay so memorable.
