Interesting features spread throughout, good size carpark.
Breakfast included and an onsite restaurent.
The stairs and steps to some rooms may cause problems for those with limited mobility.

I don’t think this was value for money. The room wasn’t very well set up to hang clothes or unpack. There were no toiletries near the bath so had to put some in a glass to use. Nowhere to hang clothes conveniently.

Both the bedroom and shower room were smaller than we expected. Cleanliness was good. We stayed two nights and ate in the restaurant on the first night, the meal was very good if a little expensive. Breakfast on the second morning was very poor as the chef didn’t turn up.

The staff at this hotel are outstanding. The room is stylish but not fancy - good quality furnishings and fittings. The was my second stay and I love it.
The food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented.
Just remember access to the car park is behind the hotel and a narrow entrance that you might miss first time! Plenty of spaces though!

I have never felt as looked after as i did here. The welcome and care was outstanding.
The man in reception was lovely, helped me find the entrance to the car park and then with my bags.
Room 17 is a bit of a trek and the building is very old (very interesting) and i hope to be back

1 night stay to visit relatives. The hotel is a lovely old building in the heart of Old Amersham. Check in was easy as was finding my room. The room was comfortable but beware if you are very tall as the ceilings and doorways are low and I had to duck at 6ft tall. Room was a bit dark due to its position but not a deal breaker for a short stay. Floor could do with carpet to keep footfall noise down as could the room upstairs. The room was comfortable and slept very well. The bathroom is a little tired and could do with some attention. For example the light above the shower was not working and the ceiling paint/paper was coming away due to the damp and tile grout needs cleaning. Breakfast was good. Check out a bit disappointing as desk was unattended and telephone number given was not answered so just left my key on the desk.

Centrally placed in Old Amersham and full of charming touches. Good breakfast.
Be warned there are lots of stairs - and some bedrooms even have stairs up to the loo - so make sure you are fit and healthy.

Arrived early for a wedding nearby. They took my bag and had already put it in my room by the time I checked in. Very good service all round.

Stayed here 3 nights total, one night business then my wife joined for 2 nights in a different room.
Loved it, rooms are spacious and airy whilst maintaining a country vibe and staff were excellent. As a side note Amersham old town is a fantastic place to stay
