"It was inaccessible, dirty and the manager was incredibly rude. There were other rooms at the back that looked nicer but the rooms above the pub were of such poor quality there's too much to list. I want other people to know that staying here is a risk and to check EXACTLY which room they will be staying in before booking. A very low refund was offered after our terrible experience then rescinded. My previous review on Google was deleted somehow. I feel so strongly about not staying here that I feel it needs to be written somewhere. I actually stayed here in September 2023 but the dates won't go back that far."

"We booked a twin room for the night to be closer to Heathrow. The stairwell was filthy narrow and very difficult to get suitcases up. The beds were OK. Only 1 big towel for the 2 of us and I much smaller towel. The bathroom and shower are very cramped and hard to move in. We woke up in the morning for 8am breakfast- as we had paid for, but everything was locked. We knocked on the doors and ventured around to find someone but nothing. Outside all the empty glasses were still on the tables. I would definitely suggest you look elsewhere to stay. For the price we paid and to receive no breakfast, it was very over priced and the photos on the site are nothing like what you get"

"Room 303 has no air flow. The window opens only so far and the blind is up by Velcro. Ask for a fan if you are there in the summer weather. Room 12 is lovely, massive bathroom and 2 sets of windows that open. Much cooler room. The building is lovely, the location is spot on and food is delicious - dinner and breakfast. Service for breakfast could have been a bit more attentive"

"Disappointed with the room, we stayed in room No 8 there was mould on the bathroom ceiling, mould on the outside base of the shower, the sink had no plug and the water only trickled out of the tap. When you opened the vanity unit the pipes were black In the room the window would not close, which we notified the receptionist, but nothing was done , on top of the four poster bed there was thick dust , it was the same with the wardrobe. There was no mattress protector , the mattress itself was 4” away from the headboard , there were cobwebs in the corner s of the room Overall we would not stop there again"
