"This is a gorgeous hotel! We spent two nights here in April 2026. When we booked, we opted for the package with breakfast and dinner. Definitely the way to go! Every meal was delicious and plentiful! We had fantastic risotto, local fish, and desserts that were works of art. We loved the private onsen on our balcony and the spectacular views down to Lake Ashi. The staff was professional, responsive, and as we knew very little Japanese, very patient with our limited language skills. The hotel has a shuttle van to Odawara Station, which works perfectly. Be sure to book it in advance, though, because it seats only six people or so. I would love to go back here someday. It really is a magical place."

We arrived arrived around 6pm and check in , the other reception told us either dinner and breakfast time slot are full, we can only take what they arrange! Which really pissed us off! And there’s no facility at all, no shuttle bus ! Will never stay in this hotel again !"

"On this trip, we stayed at a unique hot spring hotel that had just opened. Our rooms had natural hot springs and private gardens, where you could even watch movies outdoors. Privacy was excellent! Tsuruyoshigawa Hotel is tucked away in a fishing village on the Manazuru Peninsula. The rooms are brand new, and the garden and pond on the first floor are truly beautiful. Relaxing and gazing at the pond while sipping coffee is a beautiful experience. The sunlight shining on the water made the whole trip feel truly relaxing. The most unforgettable thing about our stay was the smiles and warm, friendly service of all the staff. The dinner and afternoon tea were truly seaside, and I was especially impressed to find such a luxurious dinner in a fishing village. All the staff at the restaurant were extremely polite, the service was attentive, and the food was delicious—an extraordinary experience. I'd definitely like to return if I have the chance."

"I booked a one-night, two-meal package at this hotel. The room was a Japanese-style tatami room. The hotel is a 12-minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station and has a very distinctive ambiance with its courtyard, waterfall, and koi fish. The staff were attentive and detail-oriented. "At first, the resort seemed a bit dated, but after staying here, I had a wonderful experience. The outdoor hot spring was absolutely amazing and was the highlight of my stay. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. I would especially like to thank Mr. Hyunmo Yoo, the Korean staff member who helped us during check-in. He explained everything in great detail, including how to use the facilities and other helpful information, which made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. Due to location nearby the Lake there were plenty of mosquitos spoiling the night dreaming.We couldn't find any special items in our room against them. 2. No laundry. Sometimes situations require that presence. 3. Despite we got "You are always welcome and we appreciate you belong here" vibe, the bottles in the bar have it's additional cost. It could be free for that amount of charge we pay."
