"Great location just 3 mins walk from the train station (Grindelwald Bahnhof) and bus station. Nice and panoramic view from the window. Breakfast was great! The hotel is close to the city, shops, Coop and many other stores. Everything is just in the walking distance and don’t have to walk up the hill. I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

Right outside the train station, excellent service and delicious food, Sauna n steam facilities, massive room and bathroom with all the immunities slippers, bathrobe, etc  View is a 10 on 10 all three sides. It’s a paradise to look out of the window when you get up in the morning, I shall be staying at this place if I ever return to Grindelwald."

"We are staying in Grindelwald for a couple of days and we spent one night in this hotel. The location is a bit far away from the train station and it’s exhausting to carry heavy luggage over the slopes between station and hotel. The price is reasonable and the balcony view of Eiger is stunning. The hotel looks quite old where no ventilation system can be found in washroom. Wi-Fi signal is poor and we were unable to connect it in the room. We appreciate the breakfast as the food quality is good but seems the number of staff is limited. They are required to work in the reception for check in/out enquiries and at the same time busy rushing to the breakfast area to clean up the tables and food."

"Grindelwald for the first time, and after four days and three nights, this place is perfect. It's right by the bus and train stations, so you can hop off the train from Interlaken, walk through the terminal, and Eiger Lodge is right behind the parking lot. Buses take you all around Grindelwald, even to the main street. The terminal has a Coop, so groceries are super easy. The hotel has an awesome view of the valley and is super clean. They have breakfast every day, and even though it's the same stuff, I still liked it. Heads up, there's some construction going on that might block the view a little, but it's not a big deal. I'd totally stay here again if I come back."

"Almost Perfect Stay at Hotel Alpenhof Absolutely stunning mountain view from the balcony of our suite. So breathtaking yet so serene. About 10 min walk down hill brings us to lively village of Grindelwald with all its shops n restaurants n cafes n supermarket. Cannot ask for a better location. Having said that, without a car, it can be quite challenging to take our luggages uphill to the hotel. Breakfast is another highlight of our stay. Fantastic selection of cheeses n eggs n bread n yogurt n everything. Delicious. Our suite is clean n comfortable n spacious. WiFi is stable. The only “negative” I have for our 4-night stay is that the glasses/mugs we used in our room were occasionally not cleaned for us after each day. It is a bit strange. All in all, I have no hesitation recommending this hotel to other travelers."

"Extraordinary experience! The room has a large balcony with a stunning view of snow mountains. Bed is clean and soft. Some chocolates and coffee are included. Basic amenities like towels, body wash, shampoo, hair dryer and slippers are included! Location is particularly awesome, exactly next to Grindelwald station. You literally step in the hotel right after you get off from your train. Breakfast is typical but well-served. Staff are very nice and provide clear guidance."

"Nous avons séjourné deux nuits au Belvédère et nous en gardons une très bonne expérience. Le service a été particulièrement appréciable : l’équipe est professionnelle, disponible et toujours attentive sans être intrusive. La vue depuis l’hôtel est réellement un atout. Se réveiller face aux montagnes, et en particulier à l’Eiger, apporte un vrai sentiment de calme. Que ce soit depuis la chambre, la piscine ou les espaces communs, l’orientation de l’hôtel permet d’en profiter à différents moments de la journée. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le petit-déjeuner. Il y avait vraiment un large choix pour tous les goûts, aussi bien salé que sucré, avec des produits variés et bien présentés. L’ensemble était très soigné, ce qui rend le moment du matin encore plus agréable. Les installations sont bien entretenues. La piscine intérieure et les jacuzzis extérieurs offrent un vrai moment de détente après une journée dans la région. L’ensemble de l’établissement est propre, soigné et agréable à vivre. En résumé, un séjour très réussi, grâce à l’accueil, au confort et au cadre. Le Belvédère est une adresse que nous recommandons à ceux qui souhaitent passer un moment reposant dans un environnement naturel magnifique."

"Easy to find. Very central in town. Very walkable. Shared bathroom wasn't an issue. Included breakfast left us full everyday. Very short walk to cable car to get to First. Quiet and cozy rooms."
