"The hotel location couldn’t have been better. Just a short stroll from Grindelwald train station, the hotel sits right in the heart of the village, with shops and a supermarket practically at the doorstep. It made exploring the Jungfrau region effortless — whether hopping on a train to the mountain passes or simply wandering through the charming streets. What really stood out was how well the hotel is equipped. The amenities went beyond what I expected, even compared to my previous stay at an upscale property in Lucerne. Breakfast was sumptuous . Each morning, we enjoyed a generous spread in a bright breakfast room with lovely views of the surrounding peaks. Overall, Hotel Central Wolter offers good value for money. It combines convenience, comfort, and a touch of charm."

"I had a wonderful stay at the Sunstar Hotel in Grindelwald. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for exploring Grindelwald and the surrounding areas. The views from the hotel are beautiful, especially the mountain scenery. The breakfast was also very good, with a wide selection, and enjoying the mountain views while eating breakfast was a perfect start to the day. The room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel facilities were well-maintained. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay. If I come back to Grindelwald in the future, I would be happy to stay here again."

"Upgraded to a balcony room with a fantastic view, perfect for stargazing at night. Be warned, it's a steep uphill walk from the train station, and lugging luggage up there was exhausting. The room only had one power outlet, the bathroom was tiny, and the soundproofing was terrible – I could hear every chair drag from the room upstairs."

The room was not very big, the bunk beds were very narrow, and they were locked to prevent us from using the upper bunk, so the child would easily hit his head when sitting up. The communication was fruitless and I had a bad feeling on my first day in the German-speaking area. The pool charge was a bit stingy, the hotel in Zermatt had free spa and pool. All in all, not as expected."

Although the price I paid was the highest for the summer, I still feel it was worth every penny. For a 6,000 to 10,000 (CHF/USD/EUR) stay, the view alone was worth 4,000, the service 1,000, and the location 1,000."

Upon entering the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised! My room was on the sixth floor, and when I opened the window, I was greeted by the 'dreamy hillside' view, with the north face of the Eiger, cable cars, and miniature trains winding through the mountains. My stay was fantastic."
