"Whilst the rooms are of a good size and the beds comfortable, the rooms need a lot of updating. The blinds did not fit the windows properly therefore letting in a lot of light at night, the safe did not work, the iron board leg had snapped leaving a sharp burr at one end and the toilet was not fixed properly to the wall. And because there are staff strikes ongoing, reception is regularly left unattended.
In the plus side, the restaurant in the lobby (which is not run by the hotel) is very good!"

"I love this hotel. They have warm chocolate cookies, free hot spa and sauna. The bed is comfy and I had a really good sleep. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. I will definitely write a formal complaint.
I was at the shower - the shower gel and shampoo were both empty. Obviously they didn’t refill the bottle. That’s fine. I called the counter and asked them to bring me new bottles. They rejected and asked me to go down. Ok that’s fine. I asked my friend to go down. He came back and said someone would come to change the bottles soon. Sure. I stood in the shower room for 10 minutes and no one came. Ok maybe they needed more time. I came out of the shower and sat down on the bed. Another 10 minutes. So I asked my friend to find someone. He was told that someone would come again. Another 10 minutes. A man came and gave me a bottle of shampoo and body lotion???? My friend went out again and finally got me some shower gel in a cup. It took more than 30 minutes and I just stood there. After shower, I got to do the skincare routine, dry my long hair and so on. Eventually, I went to check out. I was late of course. The lady asked me to pay for late fee. I was like ???????????????????? Explained and she agreed to waive the fee. Everything was perfect until the empty da** bottles. I am late for my lunch reservation now and I am missing some attractions for sure."

"A single issue can significantly detract from the overall experience, overshadowing the hotel's positive attributes, such as its location and the city's appeal. The room's cleanliness did not meet the standards expected of a five-star establishment. Despite presumed cleaning efforts, the room exhibited persistent uncleanliness. Evidence of this is readily apparent; for example, personal items left on surfaces, such as an iPad, mobile device, or dark-colored clothing, quickly accumulated dust or grime. Photographic evidence further substantiates this claim. Upon departure after a two-night stay, we attempted to address this concern with the reception. However, instead of offering an apology, the staff questioned our delay in reporting the issue and offered a complimentary coffee as compensation. How funny."

"Nous avons passé une nuit blanche, avec un bruit et des vibrations dans la chambre en raison de groupe de climatisation à côté .. les meubles et sol vibraient ( on a mis des mouchoirs pour caler ..).. on nous a changé la chambre pour la 2d nuit à notre demande .

"My major complaint is one that is. common with many hotels. That is the concept of not offering housekeeping services unless you are staying 3 nights. I paid 260CAD per night. IMO, getting fresh towels and the garbage emptied should be part of the service. Queuing at the front desk to ask for towels is frustrating. Nice staff and we'll appointed room. The location is in an industrial park. Restos close by but anything of interest requires transportation. It wasn't an awful stay but I don't feel the value for money spent would entice me to return."

MMacarena1975It was very different then staying at usual hotels we stay in. The learning opportunities were very appreciated. Activities and workshops are well priced and organized. Want to give a shout out to our story teller Samuel that made our first activity a memorable one The lady doing the necklace workshop will surprise you with all her abilities.
The showers were very ergonomic. The bed and beddings were very comfortable.
The aspects I wished were part of the experience:
Bigger pool as we went there as a family and the pool was rather small.
Wooden floor are nice and stone floors in bathroom look nice as well but both are really cold to walk on.
Although they offer bathrobes they unfortunately dont offer slippers.
More hiking trails nearby as well, although the little trail they have around the hotel with panels giving information on different aspect of the Wendat traditions was a nice evening walk to do as a couple.
Overall a very nice stay. Would recommend it without hesitation.

NNina around the worldThe locaction is perfect, right at the heart of old quebec. The hostel offers a complimentary walking tour of the city for guests, that was really interesting. Front desk were very nice and provided us with great recommendations of places to eat. The breakfast and cleanliness of the bathroom could be better. There were several nice shared spaces for the guests to enjoy, coffee maker and vending machine for drinks at extra cost.

MMisafir KullanıcıThe guy at the FD who checked us in was very nice. He was very helpful that when we noticed we don’t have a kettle in room, he went up to our floor and got us a new one.
The only downside was the cleanliness of the room. Hair was found beside the window and the duvet cover was a bit stained.
But overall we enjoyed the stay. :)

MMisafir KullanıcıSoap dispenser in shower was snapped off and shower drain was not attached to the floor it would slide around leaving a hole large enough for your foot, leg and ankle to fall in. It was pretty dangerous someone could easily break a foot or leg depending on how far they trip into it.
This is a historic building it does not have an elevator, this was not a problem for me but anyone with mobility issues might want to look at the pictures of their stairs to decide if they can manage.
Not a great value for what you get, but better than many Canadian hotels in 2024.

JJenny Kim1I liked the hotel location and facilities. The indoor pool was amazing and the live stage was so good. I would definitely visit here again and book the terrace view next time.
However, there are few things that I was very dissapointed.
The room was not managed well. There are white things are around the floors (it looks like painting or wall paper. I asked to change the room, but the new room has the same problem).
Hair dryer was phsically broken and not working.
Heater is not working and when I turn on, it is very noisy.
There was a party when we stayed and it was very noisy until almost 1 pm. We called at 12:30 and the reception said they send a security. However, it was still noisy after 30 mins).
