Casa Batlló, Barcelona Yakınlarındaki Oteller

We travelled to Barcelona for a work off-site, and WOW did this hotel impress. It was beautiful, the rooms were to a very high standard and the rooms from the roof top bar were brilliant. The hotel is in a great location, the staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. There were some special unexpected surprises included. The rooftop bar was amazing and we had such fun!

Having just moved to Barcelona we were looking for somewhere cheap to stay to keep our costs low. We found this hostel on Hostelworld but booked through the hostel website as it was cheaper and breakfast was included! Breakfast was the perfect continental spread (croissants, bread, cereal, cheese, eggs etc). We stayed in a 12 bed female dorm with an en suit which suited our needs perfectly. The cage system under the beds is a great way of keeping the room tidy - bring a lock for the cage! And speaking of locks, the hostel is very central and as a result has lots of safety measures in place. With our room card we can only access the ground floor, the self catering kitchen and our own floor. the safety measures in place are brilliant. The food in the bar is delicious and guests at the hostel get a discount so it's great value too! We played a few rounds of pool with the staff (special shout out to Liam and Kelly), we had a great time. The bar has many screens for showing all kinds of sports which draws in a good crowd any night of the week. The staff overall are extremely friendly and helpful at any time of the day or night. The housekeeping staff are at the top of their game, the place is spotless and extremely well kept. We highly highly recommend this hostel when visiting Barcelona.

This was one of the best choices i did during all my trips to the city. The staff are extremely attentive and well manered, and the housekeeping staff are doing a great job as well, it might be something to keep everything the tidiest while al the guests are walking, going and coming around, impressive! Very cool and funky hotel in a great area. Location: center city. Very convenient to many of the sites, metro, shopping (high end), hop on/ hop off bus, nice restaurants, etc Hotel overall: just COOL with a very laid back, fun vibe. Daily free yoga classes. Free walking tour. Amazing breakfast. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. No language issues. Decor is fabulous and eclectic. Excellent use of old and new. Elevators from the last century. Circular staircases surround the elevators. Yoga studio with colorful, comfortable pillows. Tile floors. Lots of shared/common areas including library, study, terrace (great sitting area for cards and a glass of wine), communal kitchen with fridges, micro, plates, glasses, flatware... The room: we got a double with ensuite bath. The room was TINY and dark. Had a bed and an open ”warerobe” with a rod and couple of shelves and that was it. One window with drapes looking out over a small, dark inner courtyard type square. Not even bedside tables. The bath was tiny and the shower floor was ceramic and treacherous when wet. No grab bars, so be had to be very careful. The room was quite off putting at first, but once you ”let it go”, it sort of fit with the experience. It made us socialize more and enjoy the common areas. Met a couple of interesting people... No TV -- anywhere, including common areas. At first it was strange, but we ended up enjoying the break from the noise -- it fits with the Casa vibe. Price/rate: very reasonable, @$100us per night plus tax.

Overall the service was outstanding. Caelis was superb. Check-in staff, bellboys, and concierge went above and beyond to ensure our stay was fantastic. A special recognition for Javier with concierge who was fantastic with answering all of my questions and making dinner reservations. Likewise, I’d like to recognize the fantastic bartender at Monsieur Rouge who made the best Negroni cocktails and was warm and welcoming. This was our first Ohla experience and certainly not our last. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The location was excellent and I felt very safe when out for a run in the early morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the hotel breakfast and it was perfectly acceptable -- nothing spectacular but no problems either. The shower in particular was a problem in that it drained poorly, was very slippery when wet (see: drained poorly), and caused a lot of flooding on the floor of the main bathroom, which increased the slippery danger. The beds were comfortable and I appreciated the staff leaving an extra pillow in the armoire if we wanted it.

We stayed in this hotel for one night prior to returning home. It was the third hotel that we stayed in during our trip to Spain. The hotel itself was very nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. The area was great with lots of restaurants and coffee shops. My only suggestions for improvements would be to have more than one english television channel. It was our last night and we were tired out so we would have liked to watch something besides BBC news. There was also quite a wait for an elevator.

I stayed here for two nights in January 2022 as part of a group tour and overall had a pretty awful experience. I faced the following problems at this hotel- 1- The bathroom is open without any door so basically everyone in the room can see you inside the bathroom. This is not an ideal situation for any travelers except couples. Moreover, it ensures that the water from the shower falls into the room and makes it wet. 2- The bed provides no comforter or blanket. So when you feel cold you have to unwrap a brown paper full length cover that does not give any protection at all from the cold. 3- When you switch on the hand shower, the head shower comes on automatically, that too with ice cold water! 4- There is a large counter behind the bed to place items but when you put something on it, you get a loud metallic shrieking noise. 5- Air conditioning in the corridor outside the rooms is set to freezing temperature. 6- Breakfast timings were supposed to be from 7 am to 10 am, but when we went at 8 30 am most of the food was over and nobody was taking an interest in refilling the food. The coffee machine was not working properly. 7- We could hear everything that occurred in adjacent rooms, because soundproofing was poor. 8- We were given two separate beds in spite of being a couple. 9- Finding out which switches operate which lights was very difficult. Moreover on the first day we requested a wake up call which never came! The few positive points are- 1- Close to Fira Metro Station on the Metro Line 9 (4 minute walk) 2- Close to Gran Vía 2 shopping mall (12 minute walk) 3- Friendly and polite staff Overall I think the hotel needs to make a lot of improvements!

First solo trip and my first time staying at a hostel, definitely see myself doing it again. There was some stuff that kinda ****** like you could hear people coming in and out of other rooms because the walls are pretty thin. The room was clean and comfortable tho

The staffs were really friendly! There is a mall just behind the hotel so you can go to the supermarket and buy something. I personally like the atmosphere around the hotel too, it’s so peaceful (like the picture I attached). However, you have to take the bus from airport for about 20~30min and costs €2.40 (one way), which I find a little troublesome if you leave your luggage at the hotel and come take it back again. This means that you have to take an hour journey and pay €4.80 just to get back your stuffs, so I recommend to leave your baggage at the airport if you don’t want to waste time. BUT, be careful because when I was there, which is on Sep2023, the baggage storage was closed, so make sure to check beforehand if they are open.
