Service was good. Difficulties with shower, worn fixtures and building in general requires painting and flooring. Staff were helpful and accommodating.

Stayed here for one night ahead of the football the next day. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Gave us walking directions to the restaurant we had booked and also knowledge of local pubs. Room was clean and today. No frills but at £40 a night, functional and adequate. Starbucks, McDonald’s, Dominos all across the road. Some shops, cafe’s and other takeaways up the road. Would stay again if ever head back up to Barnsley.

Stayed for two nights here. Lovely comfy room.staff very friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Poppy on reception welcomed us and helped us find a restaurant we had booked. When we left in the morning Angela carried my mum's case out to the car. Lovely staff. Will definitely stay here again when we visit from the south .

Staff member Angela was amazing. So friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable as well. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. Good location close to restaurants/fast food for convenience and close to the M1 which we needed. Would stay there again if in that area. Thank you for a comfortable night stay!

Excellent service from Beverley as I had accidentally messed up my reservation, Beverley was able to correct my error and put me in the room I intended to book, Beverley was lovely and cheerful and thank you very much, set and ready for a great night out.

Tried various rooms, all looked clean but smelled very bad of damp, unable to sleep in those conditions. Complained to the reception who took use to other rooms and all had the same issue, this apparently was a known issue. Full refund has been requested which we hope to receive asap. The standard is not what is expected from a Travelodge hotel, suggest you knock the whole place down and start agin.

All good, stopped here many times, good hotel, a little dated but apart from that, excellent bed, excellent shower, good location, just two miles from town centre, quiet, adequate parking. Shops and takeaways just a short walk away, bus stop not far.

Ok for a quick head down sleep wouldn’t recommend taking family there if they have children as it’s not accommodating from what I seen. The shower/water pressure not up to standard. No soap in the shower dispenser.

Perfect for the overnight stay required in the area. Clean room with a very comfortable bed, excellent shower. Friendly and informative receptionist. Near to catering venues for both evening meal and breakfast.
