Bishop's Court Estate, Boutique Hotel

Overnight stay was delicious: fluffy pillows, custom robes, private balcony. The decor was stunning, Christine's attention to my comfort and convenience was exceptional. I facilitated a corporate program the following day in the Chapel, and again, it went as smoothly as one would expect from such a delightful place! Dietary considerations were no problem. Everything was done ahead of time so the group of 15 people could be totally immersed in their business, but also immersed in this piece of delightful history.

The most beautiful place I have ever been and the service is second to none! Christine is the most wonderful host, so kind, helpful and makes the experience so beautiful. Christine makes you feel so special and so welcome. It was my first time visiting Bishops Court Estate and it will not be the last. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was so peaceful and everything was so classy and elegant. Stay here, dine here and have your event here you won't regret it!

A very special place to relax and unwind. Elegant, friendly, helpful, delightful - it's easy to overdo the positives because we couldn't fault our wonderful stay over our three night stay. Christine was super helpful with recommendations on what to see and places to eat, and her previous life as an interior designed is easy to see reflected in this wonderful boutique hotel. The King size beg was a dream to sleep in, and the balcony overlooking a beautifully cool & calm courtyard just added to the experience. The bathroom, albeit down a corridor, was perfect with dual basins & a walk in shower. Breakfasts were a feast and the coffee spot on. We didn't want to leave and look forward to visiting once again.

Located within the old town boundaries this fantastic hotel is the home away from home for all travellers. Christine provides beautiful comfortable rooms with an exquisite breakfast and evening meal on order.. complimentary port and chocolates in all rooms. Free onsite parking. Wonderful grounds to wander and pass the day.. Victorian standards of table ware and service.. just cannot wait to return..

Absolutely gorgeous escape from busy Sydney. We were made to feel very welcome and Christine is an amazing hostess. Luxurious elegant accommodation and a hidden gem that was recommended to us by my brother who had discovered it. Have already recommended to family and friends

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Bishop’s Court Estate. Christine was a delightful host who went out of her way to make our visit perfect. From the beautiful room to the delicious afternoon tea and breakfast, she has considered every little detail. Her local suggestions were much appreciated and we left, feeling we had made new friends. A truly memorable weekend and a place to which we will definitely return.

We celebrated my husband's 66th birthday at the extraordinary Bishop's Court Estate. Our beautiful room (the Divinity),overlooked the gorgeous garden. Heavenly bed! Each morning started with a delicious two-course breakfast in the opulent dining room,which also overlooked the garden. We were wonderfully looked after by the ever-attentive Christine (master chef) and lovely Katie. Thank you both for a memorable stay. Great recommendations from Christine for dinner included:9inety2wo;Vine & Tap;and The George Hotel. There's so much to see in Bathurst. Our highlights were Bathurst Regional Art Gallery,Bathurst Rail Museum,Chifley Home and Education Centre,the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum and Mayfield Garden. We also saw a film at the lovely Metro Cinema. Our stay coincided with Bathurst Winter Festival,another highlight.

My sister and I have just spent a delightful weekend at Bishops Court Estate, staying in The Bishops Room with access to the verandah overlooking the garden through the deodar tree. Christine, our beautiful host, has created such a luxuriously stylish but comfortable and peaceful boutique hotel. I confess to shedding a little tear whilst being shown thru the rooms, particularly the chapel which has been transformed into a wondrous formal dining area. Each evening we enjoyed some champagne in the front of the crackling fire in the lounge area and each morning were treated to a delicious 2 course breakfast in the breakfast room. And the gardens......! This is such a special place and I can't wait to return. Thank you Christine for making us feel so welcome.

What a lovely place to stay. Can’t fault at all. The breakfast was so fresh and cooked to perfection. The afternoon tea was lovely along with the glass of champagne before we headed out for dinner. This place felt like a home away from home. Definitely the best place to stay in Bathurst. Can’t wait to return one day soon. Thank you for such an amazing stay!!
