Yitingzhenshe Hotel (Beijing Qianmen)

They forget to give some new sandals and amenities but its ok. Overall all good

convenient location on a tourist street, very beautiful space around for evening walks, many attractions nearby. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious. The only rooms without windows often have an unpleasant smoking smell. Large rooms are very cold in winter, you can sleep dressed. There are only restaurants and cafes serving Chinese cuisine around.

I went mid December, and they upgraded my room from a windowless room to a beautiful Chinese themed larger room for free. However, due to the large window, the heating system scouldnt keep ul and the temperature couldn't get higher than 16 degrees. Luckily, I come from Canada so I wasn't that bothered but I can understand how it may be uncomfortable for some travellers. On the second day, the font desk asked how the room was, (I think they were concerned about it being cold) and offered to switch me to a windowless, smaller room, which would be warmer. Unfortunately, there were bed bugs that bit me a few times both nights, on my hands, back, and neck. I wish I were a more confrontational person and let the front desk know... Next time if this issue arises I will tell the hotel. Other than the issues mentioned above, the room was lovely, free of smells and the bathroom had all amenities, and they offer free toothbrush and toothpaste at the service counter if you need them. There's a working mini fridge, and the location is ideal, right in the centre of a cultural immersion tourist street where there are food shops and souvenir stores outside. Also, the staff are very helpful, and aided with making an online reservation for me to go to Tiananmen Square for the flag raising ceremony (everything must be done online, and they helped read out the Chinese words that I don't know).

Is located in the middle of the Qianmen Pedestrian Street, which was easily accessible to food and subway 🚊 😍. And was much more than expected and 200% worth of what i have spent on Yitingzhenshe Hotel.

Location very good. Food street just aound the corner. Famous time honored brand Quan Ju De peking duck and Dong Lai Shun Lamb steam boat restaurant just around the corner 2-3 mins walking distance. Near to subway and bus stop few stops to attractions Tian an Men and National museum. National museum walking distance around 800m-1km from Hotel 10mins walk. Room facilities basic but clean. Counter staff very helpful and friendly. Only downside sound proof not very good.

The problem is hotel cannot keep sounds but it is very near to tourist spots

Wonderful hotel with great location for budget trips( not far from subway and main pedestrian street). Clean and big rooms. Storage of luggage is available without additional charges.
