We booked two rooms and stayed for eight nights. Location – The hotel is strategically located right in the heart of Qianmen Pedestrian Street. There are plenty of street food stalls, shops, and reputable Peking Duck restaurants nearby, including Quanjude and Shijiminfu. It’s also within walking distance of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, and the nearest subway station is about a 10-minute walk away. Cleanliness & Comfort – The rooms were spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. I loved that they provided both a soft and a firm pillow, so you can choose what suits you best. The heated toilet seat was a wonderful touch, especially in winter. The room controls were also smart-enabled through XiaoDou (China’s version of Google Home), which made adjusting lights and settings very convenient. Service – The service was impeccable. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. They surprised us with handmade dumplings for the Winter Solstice Festival and a lovely Christmas gift. There were also complimentary snacks, hot flower tea, and fresh fruit available for guests throughout the day. A special thanks to Cui, who helped call my airport transfer and calmly assisted in locating my phone when I thought I had left it behind — truly above-and-beyond service. Overall, we had a truly pleasant stay and would happily return.

Lovely hotel to stay at in an absolute prime location in the middle of the hutongs and a 1 min walk from Qian Men Street. Also walkable distance to Tian’an men Square and the Palace Museum. Theres plenty of food spots around and it’s nice and quiet in the evenings. The staff was incredibly kind and also helped us arrange reservations. The room was spacious and very clean. Free water, teas, snacks and fruits 24/7 in the lobby area. Very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Also lucky enough to have booked the only room with a balcony overlooking the hutongs. Absolutely no complaints.

I had a very good stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area, and the property itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained. The only downside was the room size — despite being listed as a superior queen bedroom, it felt quite small. Overall, I’d rate this hotel 4 stars and would recommend it for travelers looking for comfort in a great location.

Liu Jia Yao tren istasyonu otelden yaklaşık 3-4 km uzaklıktadır. McDonald's ve KFC restoranı, ayak masajı ve kulak temizleme mağazası, Çin Tıp Salonu ve şarap barı bulunmaktadır.

I recently stayed at the Houhai Gulou Courtyard Manxin Mansion and it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I’ve had in Beijing. From check-in to check-out the staff were warm, helpful and friendly — it really felt like they cared about making our stay comfortable. What stood out most was the setting: we stayed in a beautifully restored siheyuan-style courtyard house in a quiet hutong, yet just a short walk to Guloudajie metro station and the lively Houhai area. The architecture, the layout, even the sound of birds in the courtyard gave a sense of place you don’t get in generic hotels. The room was modern, clean and well-equipped with nice touches (smart room controls with Xiao Du, good mattress, tasteful décor). Location-wise it’s excellent and perfect after exploring the nearby Gulou & Houhai area，a short walk to metro lines and many Hutong dining and cultural spots. I’d happily stay here again.

Location is fa raway from town and public transport, but convenient for whom want to have a retreat from big city and good access to PEK airport. Room is clean and well maintained, good facility within hotel premise. Staff is polite and cater to your needs. Big thumbs up for a boutique hotel

The positives: Location, Location, Location! It is a 10 minute walk away from the forbidden city, and it is close to the temple of heaven. The room service did a nice job as well cleaning the room daily. The negatives: 1- the access to the hotel is through stairs, if you have luggage, you won’t have someone to help you with the bags before you check in. 2- the pictures make seems nicer than it actually is. 3- the lobby is not clean, neither is the floor where we were booked. 4- the rooms too close to each other, the room walls are not well isolated, you will keep hearing noises throughout the night of people walking and speaking loudly beside the rooms. 5- the bathroom has a strong odour coming from it. Not due to room service hygiene though. 6- the toilet seat had wear marks/dark marks on it. 7- pay attention to the fine print while you are booking, despite that all options say double bed, we were asked to pay extra for a queen size bed. Which is fine , however that extra cost puts the hotel rate in the same range of higher tier brand hotels. 8- the room is small, and there are no hangars for the towels.

My family of four lived here for 5 days and would strongly recommend this hotel. The rooms were very clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Also it was very convenient, with breakfast downstairs, laundry onsite, subway nearby and free bottled water. Moreover, the staffs were very nice and friendly. We would stay here in the future.

The hotel is great and it is located in one of the oldest residences in Shicahai Beijing. Walking distance to the main street of Nanluoguxiang Street too. There is a nearby train station and many exit points for Didi travel. Walking distance to the Bell and Drum towers which are beautiful! The hotel staff was very accommodating to our needs and they are super friendly. The breakfast spread is also wonderful, as if you are dining in a 5 star hotel, from Western spreads to Eastern dining. This place features a cosy outdoor seating area too and it is comfortably heated. Best of all, the hotel rooms allow for individual changes on the air conditioner! BIG PLUS! the views we have are indoor which are fine as there are natural lighting that comes from above. We feel safe with this culturally rich and modern hotel. At our last day, we receive help for our luggage, we had 8 couples with us on this trip and that can amount to a lot of large luggage. They offered a large trolley to help us pull into the main roads for our final trip to the airport. This is worth mentioning. Will sure pick this place again when we return. Did I mention that they offer up to 4 bottles of water in each room, complementary with two cans of drinks daily!

Nicely opened hotel. Stayed on the ground floor which is beside front desk. Free laundry services . You may pass your dirty laundry to the front desk for washing and it is free. The road that lead to the hotel is very narrow. It is a single lane road but for two direction. Driver will have hard time making u turn to go out as the end of the road is almost a dead end. Hotel compound is very tight too. We informed the didi driver to drop us at main road so that he will not have issue going out. It is ard 2 mins walk fm the main road . Forbidden city red wall is around 10 mins walk away. But the 午门is ard 25 mins walk away. Wang Fu Jin is ard 20 mins walk away .
