Zu einem ganz exclusiven Event extra dorthin gereist und auch übernachtet. Schloss Hotel mit Blick aufs Wasser. Kunst im Park.Pool und Wellness. Anreise vom Stadt-Flughafen Belfast mit Zug (Richtung Bangor)Nur wenige Meter Fußweg vom Bahnsteig bis Hotel.

Just before I start I’m not even sure the words I choose to write will do justice for this hotel. Me and my fiancée recently visited the Culloden to celebrate our engagement, on arrival we were presented with two cupcakes with congratulations written in chocolate on a plate in our room. Oh did I also mention the unexpected upgrade, this was totally unexpected but very much appreciated. The spa facilities are amazing and the place is so clean. Me and my fiancée visited this multiple times during our stay. We had a drink in the bar area, which was so relaxed and very reasonably priced. The selection of speciality teas as well as different coffees was excellent. The breakfast offering was amazing, there was so much choice on the self serve Buffett as well as the option to order extras like omelettes etc All of the staff we interacted with were so friendly and professional at all times. I suppose I should be unbiased and say some not too positive, the only thing I can really say is I was disappointed our stay had to end. We will certainly be returning though. This hotel offers a true five star experience for the price.

Recently did an event at the Culloden and can’t praise the venue enough. The hotel, the room and the food was amazing. What really set it apart was the staff, super friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Wanted to give a shoutout to Ainsleigh for helping to organize the event, and Dan for all his help and support during our event. Both were fantastic. Thank you! Would definitely return for another event and recommend to others.

Had the best birthday treat here courtesy of my daughter. Staff at reception were friendly , concierge was really lovely. Spent a lovely afternoon in the spa . Had a lovely dinner in the Cultra Inn with staff being friendly and letting us have a cheeky 🥂in the Bollinger Garden . But my 5 star praise goes to Pearce along side Andy in the hotel bar who tonight were attentive , funny , charismatic and a credit to The Hastings chain . We had a lovely evening xx

What can I say, it is an amazing place to stay, the building itself is stunning. The hotel rooms spotless with a very modern bathroom with free standing bath and separate walk in shower. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, as my husband was on crutches and it was a walk down a hill to one of restaurants, they arranged for the staff bus to drop us off and collect us. The restaurant inside the hotel was gorgeous again with very attentive staff and superb food. Well worthy of its 5* status. A shout out to Jonathan the concierge who did his upmost to make sure we had everything we needed.

Receptionist on check in was very friendly and showed us around the hotel. Breakfast was amazing but only downside was there was a tour group staying and on that morning the cooked breakfast menu wasn’t offered to even those not part of the tour. The room was a good size, clean and beautiful views of the garden. During 2 of the days staying there was a lot of maintenance taking place which did cause a lot of noise. Overall we had a lovely stay and the grounds are amazing, will definitely return.

The experience was what I would describe as “faded glory”. This might have been a great place to stay in the past, but apart from the lovely location and building, the hotel experience is like staying in a Holiday Inn, but then much more expensive. There is no attention to detail or to guests. We stayed there for 4 nights and then for our final night in Belfast we stayed at the Titanic hotel, which is absolutely fabulous! We now wished we had booked all our nights at the Titanic hotel. If you want a great hotel experience, go to the Titanic hotel instead.

This was our first hotel during our 2.5 week UK vacation. It is billed as a five star luxury hotel, and while elements of our stay fit that description, we did not walk in or out feeling like it was a five star luxury experience overall. The rooms were comfortable but not luxurious and there were frustrating elements (hot water not working in one of our showers, water/toiletries not replenished during first servicing, unusable closet space, etc). Breakfast at Vespers and food at the Lough Bar were good, but our experience at Cultra Inn was terrible. I will say the staff we engaged with were friendly and some were particularly helpful (Pamela, Rory, Mel, and Mante were all especially great). Overall though, this was not at all worth the price we paid. For context/contrast, we next went to Crossbasket Castle in Scotland, and it was every bit of the five star luxury experience we had been expecting at Culloden.

If you stayed in Culloden and eat elsewhere you would probably give it 5 stars but having had bad dining experiences and poor customer service 3 is as far as I could go.The hotel grounds are very pretty and rooms are clean. It's pricey but most 5 star hotels are but generally you get what you pay for but food in Culloden is very disappointing.Dinners over cooked and 1 dangerously under cooked just a very poor quality
