Edgbaston Park Hotel has been recognised for many industry leading accreditations and has recently been accredited the Gold award from Green Tourism.

Two historic buildings which were bequeathed to the University are also part of the hotel and have been tastefully restored - Hornton Grange a 1928 redbrick former family home and Garth House a Grade II-listed Arts and Crafts building built in 1900.
The intellectual - scientific and cultural achievements of the University of Birmingham are honoured in the hotels room names from ground-breaking obstetrician Dame Hilda Lloyd to pioneering prison reformer Margery Fry. Visually appealing hotel with huge rolls of carpet in the lobby, ground floor drilling going on, and construction going on. Stocking is a standard for hotel rooms. Rather of vacuuming the carpets, there are scuff marks and coffee stains all over the walls. It's a filthy reaction. From the exterior, the hotel appears well-maintained

Generally, I had a lovely stay. My room was upscale, comfortable and clean. I enjoyed a tasty meal in the bar area one evening. I did however have some difficultly getting the heat to come on when I needed it, but I was comfortable enough.

The hotel is clean and the room is big for one person. The hotel provides water, coffee, and tea in the room. The bar in the lobby is great too.

I stayed at the hotel to attend a conference at Birmingham University. Cleanliness, location, transportation and all other features are very good. Additionally, the employees are really friendly and helpful.

In all honesty the price of the hotel was not worth it. I paid £185 for my room for me and my partner but the room was shockingly under budget. The room was big but that was all. The bed was basically a double bed, The room stank and smelt like someone had been using the toilet before we got in there, you could hear everyone outside the room and everyone walking and talking around outside the hotel. I would never recommend anyone paying more than £80 for the big room.

The check-in staff is very nice. The dining staffs were too much in a rush because there are too many guests for breakfast (btw it was uni open day). However, the food was nice and loved the hash brown. The location of the hotel is perfect for vising the University of Birmingham and it is 10 mins driving distance from the city centre. The room was clean and the size is sufficient for 2 guests and luggage.

This isn’t our first time staying at Edgbaston Park Hotel, so it’s always an amazing time when we stay! The rooms are always clean & the staff are very pleasant. Can’t wait to stay here again!
