The Feathers Hotel

Simon and Helen are lovely had problems with the electrics in our room moved us straight away and even though we are homeless helped us all the way and supported us become good friends can't fault them would recommend to anyone and if you need anything they are there what ever the time of day or night

The property was run by a youg lady who tried her best but she is not an electricion or a plumber as the electric in our room went off as did the heating . The poor girl didnt know what to do and we felt sorry for her. There was also a young lad living there who had his bike in what was the lounge repairing a puncture .i dont think I'll be staying there again

Simon and Helen were excellent, after mix up with *********** we were left with unsuitable accommodation for the 6 of us including 2 small children, they not only provided unbelievable facilities they gave the kids treats/drinks and really looked after us. Would definitely book same room again

Well where do I start ,, wasn’t impressed with the lounge !! Then the room just got worse , broken blinds , curtains didn’t fit , grubby carpets , towels to small , mattress springy , bins overflowing with rubbish , no staff on site to get toiletries, and to top it all on day of checking out , someone was in reception demanding money back x after coming home I’m full of bites !!! I presume from the mattress , we did try and get somewhere else , but. No vacancies x DO NOT STAY HERE !!

Room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 5 pm(despite 3pm being booking in time). .. lounge filthy with bin bags full of rubbish. Owner not welcoming at all, she looked like she should have been in her bed as she looked lousy. Couldn’t lock our door so had to leave hotel knowing it wasn’t locked. Came back later and had to ring for owner to come open our door. Room clean apart from carpet needed hoovering and tooth paste on sink . Towels tiny .. wouldn’t stay here again ! Only good thing was were hotel was close to winter gardens

Excellent service, owners couldn’t have been more helpful. Clean rooms comfy bed, close to the attractions just a short walk away. We stayed two nights and would stay again. Thank you both for all your help during our stay

We've just visited the feathers hotel from the moment we arrived we were made welcome the owners are so nice and hard working a comfortable bed close to the tower and all amenities we will be back ty so much for having us

Great location, but wouldn't stay there again! Tiny room could barely move in there, in desperate need of revamping. If you get room 1 ask to be moved, its right next to reception and very noisy, it felt like reception was in our room. Apart from that the bed was comfy and good WIFI. Pictures aren't true to form.

great hotel with the best customer service. a little bit messy but not at fault. shower was great when i finally got it running. beds were super comfy. owner made us feel very welcome and gave us everything that we needed. only a 5 minute walk from the sea front and plenty of places to eat around. very much recommend
