Newholme Hotel

The room was clean and comfortable, towels nice and soft. Communication with the hosts was very good, they advised of the best car park with a good rate and the hotel is in a nice central location, easy walking distance to the seafront and centre.

On arrival, we did not get asked to confirm who we are we were just quickly given all instructions and left to go to our room. The room was not clean, apart from the bed which was really comfortable. There were thick layers of dust on the shelves, cup marks on window ledge in bathroom. The sink and shower were dirty as well. We got a knock on the door at 9pm when we were quietly watching TV in bed and we were told to keep the noise down as another member of staff heard laughing and shouting coming from our direction which was not us, we heard the laughing ourselves and it continued afterwards with nothing happening. The continental breakfast was nice and I enjoyed that but the staff sit more or less on top of you which I found uncomfortable and did not feel as if I could have a proper conversation with my mum I felt the staff were not very welcoming and I was very unimpressed with this whole experience and will not be staying again or recommending. I feel it was not worth what I paid for the room

Fantastic stay again. Always made to feel welcome and staff friendly as always.. Would recommend to friends, Love the changes in room 5.. sofa now instead of a table and chairs Lovely Easter gesture when leaving a chocolate rabbit for each guest...

We felt very welcome upon arrival - staff were friendly. The door code access made arriving/departing during the day very easy! We had a 10/10 sleep & couldn’t fault the room. There was a wide range of drinks and food available for guests. Thank you for a lovely stay - we’ll definitely recommend to family and friends!

Excellent stay. Hosts were great. Room was spotless and the free slippers were a nice touch. The breakfast options were really good. We had the continental on the first morning which was great and then the full English the morning after. Best stocked bar area I've seen in a b&b. 100% would recommend. Thanks for a great stay and the free shot. Hosts were great.

Very friendly staff, comfortable bed, had a great nights sleep. Had cooked breakfast and it was lovely. Perfect for a short break. Close proximity to the centre, only 10 minutes to the tower. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us.

From check in to check out, the boys made us feel welcome. It was December and freezing and the moment you walk through the door, the Hotel is cosy, homely and welcoming……..also toasty warm! We did the Xmas Special which included their Afternoon Tea, Bar Credit and early check in and late check out. The Afternoon Tea is amazing and the only one I’ve ever had a small bowl of soup with, well worth a trip here just for that alone! The room was modern, well equipped and clean. The beds were super comfy and extra blankets on hand if you need them. (We didn’t as the hotel is lovely and warm)! The bathroom had a lovely cubicle power shower and little touches (Make up remover flannel) and if you’ve forgotten anything, they have a good stock of toiletries etc at reception. The continental breakfast was fantastic! Cereal (including Muesli) toast, croissants, chocolate pain and waffles. All served with tea or coffee and all milk, jams, cream and fresh fruit and juices! You can pay extra for a cooked breakfast! All in all, when we go to Blackpool, we will only use this Hotel.

A fantastic hotel in Blackpool, we arrived late on a Friday evening and was greeted by the owner who explained everything and came to the room once we were settled in and asked if everything was okay. Which it was. Next morning at breakfast ( which was delicious) helped me with car parking at a free place. Very friendly and helpful at all times. We will be coming back to this hotel next time we plan a Blackpool w/end.

First off the building is old, it’s quaint and cozy. But it’s been done up and refurbished, especially in the rooms. Comfy clean beds, in room facilities, en suite which had all required items and enough space. I was never up early enough for breakfasts, but my mother said they were good, and had a nice little selection. We asked for an extra blanket, new towels and help to find things to do, the owners were happy to help. Looking things up and explaining where to go etc. It’s a perfect place for a bnb vibe, 5 minutes away from the sea and main attractions. It has it all really. Would very much recommend
