Beautiful posh hotel with beautiful rooms. The indoor swimming pool is stunning. Morimoto restaurant is excellent. The historical building and the Philippe Starck design makes it really special. The service is impeccable. The outdoor garden is a great spot to have lunch.

This hotel knows all about hospitality and puts it into practice. We were looked after from the moment we drove in through the entrance. This applied to the valets, reception staff and restaurant staff at dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed every moment. My husband has limited mobility and this was never a problem at the hotel. Thank you

A new luxury hotel in Bordeaux town with an excellent spa and a Japanese restaurant with a good wine list. Designed by French architect Philippe Starck, it is owned by Les Carmes Haut-Brion, one of the most exciting producers in contemporary Bordeaux. Hotel is well located within a walking distance to the cafes, design and antique shops in Chartrons.

Welcoming staff. Small bedrooms and even smaller showeroom. No proper bar. Incompetemt barman- does not know what a malt is! No proper sitting lounge i.e. three small tables/chairs (when we were there one of them was occupied by a hotel manageress who first was lowdly discussing the wine list with a suplier and then, the salary of a potential new employee!

Un albergo magnifico, ricavato in un antico edificio con una ristrutturazione che ha consentito di dotarlo di tutti i confort. La posizione non è centralissima, ma le camere sono splendide, finemente arredate, curate nei particolari. Difficile fare di meglio, anche dal punto di vista della gestione: personale affabile e disponibile, reception professionale, colazione servita nel ristorante con un ricco buffet (solo in questo caso il cappuccino si è fatto attendere un po' più del dovuto...). Ricca la dotazione del minibar in camera, comprendente bottiglie di pregio. Prezzi adeguati alla categoria dell'hotel e al confort che offre.

Nous avons décidé d’aller prendre un verre, mais dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis de manière glaciale par les serveurs. Plusieurs d’entre eux semblaient nous ignorer délibérément. Heureusement, nous avons été très bien accueillis à la réception de l’hôtel, qui nous a gentiment dirigés vers le restaurant. Après quelques minutes d’attente, les serveurs nous ont finalement trouvés une place. Cependant, il nous a fallu attendre 10 minutes supplémentaires pour recevoir une seule carte de menu pour deux personnes, ce qui n’était pas très pratique. Malgré cela, la sélection de boissons sur la carte était très agréable. Cependant, la police d’écriture utilisée sur la carte était assez petite, ce qui rendait la lecture difficile. Lorsque les serveurs ont apporté nos boissons, le mojito était délicieux, mais nous avons remarqué l’absence de sous-verres et de serviettes. Lorsque j’ai fait remarquer cela au serveur, sa réponse a été simplement “oui, c’est vrai”. Avec un tarif de 30 euros pour deux verres, on pourrait s’attendre à un service impeccable. En résumé, l’endroit est agréable avec une décoration très jolie (merci à Starck), mais le service au bar laisse à désirer.

Un très beau séjour de 2 nuits en amoureux entre la Cité du Vin et le centre ville de Bordeaux. Les chambres sont lumineuses et agréables, la literie excellente. Nous avons testé le room service et le petit déjeuner au restaurant, les deux étaient superbes ! Le personnel est aux petits soins et nous reconnaît lors de nos passages dans le lobby, très agréable. L’espace bien-être est magnifique, coup de cœur pour la piscine et le Hammam. Merci à Hugo, Caroline et Martio. A très vite je l’espère !

Notre séjour au Mondrian Bordeaux Les Carmes fut une expérience exceptionnelle ! Dès l’entrée dans l’hôtel, nous avons été plongés dans un univers chaleureux où le sens du détail se retrouve partout : l’agencement de la bâtisse, le choix des meubles et des matériaux, la décoration raffinée et l’attention du personnel, toujours de bonne humeur et de bons conseils pour une sortie bordelaise. La chambre ne laisse pas non plus indifférent. En effet, tout y est pensé pour le confort du client. La nuit qu’on y passera ne viendra que le confirmer. Pour le repos, il y avait aussi le spa et la piscine, un espace parfait pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Pour notre soirée, le restaurant Morimoto fut à lui seul un moment inoubliable avec ses sushis maitrisés à la perfection, quelques sakés pour les sublimer et de délicieux desserts. Là encore, le sens du détail a rendu notre expérience encore plus inoubliable. Le lendemain, la dégustation d’un dernier verre au bar de l’hôtel venait conclure en beauté notre séjour. Notre seul regret fut de partir de cet hôtel exceptionnel ! Hâte d’y retourner !
