Where do I start? I paid online for myself and my wife and for another room for my daughter. I paid for what I understood to be the 'best' room you can have, the premier suites. On arrival, despite just one person being in front of me, it took over 25 minutes to be served/checked-in. No apology. The rooms were next to each other overlooking the industrial courtyard behind the hotel. The windows were filthy and the air conditioning machines humming all night. We were in a room next to the lifts and entrance doors to the floor.....so we had a lot of noise throughout the night. As soon as I saw the room I went downstairs and asked if I could be moved. I was told, "you 'buy' the room, not the view - so we will not move you". Please note, the hotel was not fully booked (i checked) - and we could have been moved. The TV volume was set to quite a low level - which is poor for my wife who has poor hearing. In the morning I had a shower and discovered we had one towel between us! There is no reception number or phone in the room, so used a had towel. Overall, a hugely disappointing stay. There is no carpark (so an additional charge) and staff that just don't seem to care. There are so many other hotels in Bournemouth, I would encourage you to use them and not this poor excuse.
