"This hotel is lovely however, the room we had had the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in ( for the very little sleep me and my husband got) My back and hips were very painful come the morning. AND ...the floors are extremely creaky. We were on the 1st floor and our floor was bad enough but upstairs was almost unbearable. Also the walls and floor was so thin we could hear everything the upstairs couple were getting up to !!!! Very very long night. Glad to get home to my own bed!"

"We stayed at this hotel from Friday to Sunday and had a very pleasant stay. We booked a Superior Room, which had a large and very comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious and newly renovated, which was a nice touch. The room also had a good-sized TV with Freeview. Breakfast was mainly a traditional English breakfast, but everything was always fresh and well prepared. The only minor thing I would say is that the coffee could be improved slightly. However, with a little milk and sugar, it was just fine. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back."

"We had a fantastic stay at Sea Stone Hotel in Bournemouth. The location is amazing and very convenient, and the hotel is clean. The staff were outstanding — friendly, attentive, professional, and always smiling, which really made a difference. A special mention to Afria at reception, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was great and served in a lovely restaurant downstairs, making for a perfect start to the day. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again! Dijana"

"We recently had a celebratory Retirement meal in the library. The Hotel has beautiful Rooms and gorgeous Gardens with the view to the sea. From planing with Hannah our events coordinator for our retirement gathering providing the perfect Atmosphere. The food was excellent which catered for those that had allergies and who were vegan. The service staff were friendly professionals . Lots of free car park spaces Worth every penny for such a fantastic memorable day. Hotel Mirimar . Thank you for making our celebration meal really special."

"HOTEL: Everything was brilliant from the time we arrived to the time we departed. This was our second stay at this hotel. STAFF: Mike at reception made us feel welcome and catered for our needs and wants. He was friendly, informative and generally helpful. He is a credit to the hotel and we appreciated the customer service we recieved from him. Also the filipino lady at breakfast time was very friendly and made us feel welcome as if we knew her a long time. She even remembered my diet requirements every morning without me having to tell her. At the bar/restaurant, they did not have a non alchoholic pina colada on the drinks menu but all the members of staff that made us non alchoholic pina colada did so without question and made it absolutely delicious. I suggested they put that on the drinks menu, I'm sure other customers will enjoy it too. FOOD: The portions were excellent on the starters and main meals and quite filling. The desserts were very limited compared to the last time we stayed at the hotel. I know the reason for this however there was very little to choose from, again I now know why. The chocolate cheesecake on the dessert menu was very disappointing, the base was way too wet with no crunch. At this point I was glad it was a small portion. The lemon sorbet portion was too much but delicious. ROOM: We booked a 3 night stay and by the third day there was a slight smell (maybe the carpet) as if a dog had been in the room but we did not make an issue of it.. (The room next to us had a dog so assumed the room we were in was also a pet inclusive room). We were grateful for the upgrade. SUMMARY: On the whole our experience at the hotel was brilliant. We look forward to booking again in the future."

"I left the review on trip advisor. Some of the good points is nicely decorated rooms. Good location. However if I was a larger person the standard double room would not be suitable. Shower cubicle is way too small. The water issues are real and to be honest they should be your priority rather than putting a note on bathroom door that they maybe interruptions. The shower we could not have in our room for 2 hours as no hot water even when you fixed the broken hose is not acceptable. People don’t complain as they go there for holiday and not to creat extra stress for themself. So they let lots of things slip. The parking should be free at your own property for residents. Other charges you had created like late check out £20 is more that in travel lodge. What is the charge for unsociable arrivals?? All other ones too. I also want to mention that I had never seen so much dust under the beds. Bed did not have a sheet that spread from end to end that’s more odd. Pillows are not that comfortable. As one night we did not raise complaint but I feel you need to improve. Anything that was mentioned in previous reviews is valid and I did not like you get on defensive side. So overall no we will not use your hotel again. "

"Was greeted by a lovely lady at reception who explained how our key fob worked. Lovely room with everything we needed. Location is close to beach and town. With free parking on site I was able to leave my car there with peace of mind. Only issue is we dropped a pair of socks down the side of the bed, on retrieving the sock it was caked in thick dust. But this will not stop me from staying again if we visit again."

"Been coming here for years. Originally a Golden Tulip hotel before Premier Inn took it over, we were one of the firsts guests. Dramatic company changes since then. End of summer season and it shows. Some work being done, including one of the lifts. Unfortunately company policy seems to be to run their hotels with the absolute minimum of staff. It shows. Double room for 2 people. One bath towel, two sachets of tea and coffee, two milks. Curtains hanging off track. Make up mirror light impossible to turn off, so on all night. Shower heating control stuck on hot. All things which could easily be rectified. Staff do their best but when its really busy it must be impossible. My congratulations to the staff last night for the job they did."

"Every time I am in Bournemouth we try and stay at the Hampton. The hotel is clean, the rooms are nice, clean and spacious, the breakfast is well cooked and presented. The check was smooth, the parking facilities are brilliant and only cost £13.50 a day which is reasonable if you are staying in a hotel. You are minutes away from the various shops and restaurants. The seafront is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel. One thing to bear in mind you a climbing a steep hill to get to the Hampton. The Hilton is just next to it but the climb is not as steep. The rooms were clean and fresh the shower was powerful, the beds were nice to sleep on and the pillows were nice and soft. Had a very good sleep both nights."
