It’s definitely not a 4 star hotel. The rooms are dark and dreary with bare bones dorm style furniture. Bathroom sink was dirty. Not enough towels and no extra pillows or blankets. Makeshift closet and the beds hard mattress. On a dark scary looking street. Photos of room are not an accurate representation. Would not return.

My wife and I stayed at the prodeo for 2 weeks for our honeymoon (Jan 2024). The staff were incredible and helpful the hotel was very clean, quiet and quaint. We walked almost everywhere to eat, drink and play. The rooms were very clean and we loved the outdoor balcony soaker tub! Also really excellent water pressure in the shower! The pool was a hit and we definitely enjoyed the fact that this hotel only has 10 rooms so it was never to loud or crazy. The hotel is also safe and secure with staff on 24/7 and lock boxes in your room.

The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The location was convenient and in walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars near Palermo SoHo.

Excellent breakfast, comfortable bed, rooms cleaned to a high standard and staff very helpful. Location is very good with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby to choose from. More storage for our extended stay would have been appreciated and we were very disappointed that the pool was not available as that was a major deciding factor in choosing the hotel.

Excellent stay in good area for getting around. The pool was not available even though it says from December so that was disappointing but had an enjoyable stay none the less. Good breakfast with bacon and scrambled eggs and the usual continental fare.

Very good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Quiet, considering that you are in a very lively neighborhood, specially at night. The street where it is located it is a bit dark, nevertheless we did not feel unsafe at any time. We booked 2 rooms: the one with carpet was a bit smelly.

The property is generally good with a fabulous breakfast although I wouldn't swim in the pool. The neighbourhood seems very sketchy and the building is a fire trap. There is a metal screen covering the entire street access and you have to ring and the desk clerk comes and buzzes you in. We were left standing on the street at midnight for 30m because the door failed. No one could get in or out. They said it was the only access. No service entrance??
