Good enough for a one night stay, the bathroom needs renovation though.

This place was a disaster. It was right near train station and freeway. It wasn’t very clean. They had duct tape to fix things. Would never recommend this place. Service was bad as well.

Stay was great. The hotel is simply a bit old, tired which is why I gave it 4 stars, along with that they seemed to try and compensate for this with a log of fragrance in the carpets, sheets etc. However the beds were clean and comfortable, the pool was fun, the staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was great. Price well worth was we got.

The room was rundown and had a hair clip to hold the blind together at the top of the window…
The pool area was hot and smelled of gasoline. I did chat with the front desk staff and they said they couldn’t do anything about the pool area being hot, they said that they know it’s hot.
The breakfast items were microwaved, there didn’t seem to be much of a kitchen area. The quality of the food was low.
This property is not well looked after and the front desk person did not seem to want to talk to me about it when I let him know I was a bit disappointed with the room when we were checking out.

I just enjoyed my stay. The pool was fun and the beds were comfy. Room was cheap and the breakfast wasn't bad at all. Overall a great stay.

To summarize the review I didn’t feel comfortable drinking water out the tap. The washroom had white tiles with white grout. Except that’s not how it is anymore. It’s all yellow and pink from people peeing all over it and it not being properly cleaned, possibly ever. The soap holder doesn’t hold soap. And looks like it’s been knocked loose 20 times and each time they just use more glue over the old glue to put it back up. The breakfast that was included, I didn’t eat. Limited and didn’t look appetizing to say the least. Overall very outdated premises and not very well maintained - gives dingy motel vibes. The whole parking lot was a slush puddle. If you drive a car I wouldn’t be surprised if you got stuck. No snow removal it looks like. If you’re forced to stay at this hotel because of location like I was, there is one other hotel in the immediate vicinity. For only $25 more it’s much nicer and actually feels like a hotel.

Nice enough hotel, but needs a bunch of updating & repairs to get close to the 8.2 rating I chose it for.
Some examples:
Tub was still steel & used a mat for ant slip.
Was also plumbed with H & C reversed. A maintenance person had used fender washers to reattach the face plate.
Some of the top few plugs were so worn they didn’t work.
If there were any USB ports, I didn’t see them.
Wifi was not secure.
Staff were great.
Hotel would be ok for a family on a budget that wanted a pool, but not for me
