"I'm not the one that leaves bad reviews but I have to do this . This isn't your typical holiday inn you're used to . Far from it . Stains on blinds, not the typical spacious room I'm used to . The heating system made constant dragging noise at intervals all night . We couldn't sleep . Not what I was expecting . Then I called to see if there was an option to get the room upgraded , the lady that picked up was too eager to shut me off . There was no professionalism . Microwave was making creaking noise and the tv wasn't working when I checked in though that was fixed promptly when I called them in . I'll give them a 5/10. I've been to other Holiday Inns in Edmonton, and they are top class with very decent people at the front desk . This is just one old hotel trying to live up to the franchise name. Not close !!!!! Never again!!!"
Calgary Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel
"There were only three front desk staff members to handle all guests, and this was the first time I've ever experienced calling the front desk over ten times with no one answering. If they are understaffed, the management team should focus more on team building rather than providing such a terrible experience for guests. Besides the abysmal service, here are a few other points to consider: 1. Rooms face two directions. If you're unlucky enough to get a room facing the machinery and the tarmac, falling asleep will be impossible. There's absolutely no soundproofing; it was the worst experience. Even rooms facing the other direction have noticeable airplane takeoff and landing noise, so this hotel is not a suitable option for light sleepers or guests looking for a good rest. 2. You need to request all amenities like the kettle and disposable toiletries from the front desk in advance. 3. Wi-Fi costs extra for non-Marriott Bonvoy members. 4. Room service incurs an additional delivery fee on top of the service charge. 5. The overall customer service team has significant room for improvement in their communication skills and methods with guests. This was my worst Marriott hotel experience ever."

That's why I booked a stay at Kadagay, where we could cook for ourselves, and it's very close to several large supermarkets. It offers excellent value for money for those traveling by car!"

"One gripe is that all the pillows on both beds in the rooms were extra large.. left the hotel with a sore neck no one in my party had a good sleep.. recommend small , medium, large or standard , queen and King pillows to give options or just standard size would've been fine... Other issue is with the fridge it didn't get cold just barely cool so our dessert was all melted and take in didn't last"

"This was the second cheapest hotel I stayed at during my month-long trip to the US and Canada, and it even included a decent breakfast. The room was spacious and had a kitchen. I arrived in Calgary at 7 PM, but sunset is usually around 10:30 PM, so resting here before heading to Banff was a good option."
