Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel

This old hotel was updated and well maintained. Very elegant. The staff was friendly and amazing. The breakfasts were gourmet. It was in an active neighborhood with many restaurant choices. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our hotel choice.

Elegance at its finest!! Warm, friendly hospitality. Above and beyond expectations. Felt like royalty Anticipated my every need. Food service was excellent, service is superb, in addition to fresh fruits and pastries, hot breakfast on top of that. All said. “WOW” Thank you

We had chosen this hotel for its size and following a recommendation and from first crossing the threshold we were warmly welcomed and treated as if we were the sole occupants of the hotel. Our room was very well presented and had all necessary amenities and facilities, while the general hotel area provided a sense of tranquility and calm. The restaurant, where breakfast was also served, did not in any way let the other aspects of the hotel down, with first class quality food and attentive service. The hotel also has a very useful shuttle bus service, for conveyance to other parts of this iconic city.

Spectacular stay!!!! We were looking for a smaller boutique hotel in a great location and were so glad we found this hotel. The service here was 10/10 Breakfast was incredible The pool is adorable Rooms are sooo so so cool! Will be back! Thanks to everyone who made our stay so wonderful

Overview: Staff: 5/5 The Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Upon arrival, you receive a welcome drink and snack while given a brief introduction to the facilities, during which your bags are carted away to your room. Hotel Room: 5/5 The rooms at the hotel are spacious, clean, and well-laid out. The rooms are a combination of Victorian and modern. The bathroom comes filled with all the accessories you may have run out of while traveling through South Africa. Note: Make sure to ask what is complimentary vs. what is charged to your room regarding fridge and snack draws. The Cadogan is located on local streets, and honestly, there is no need to use the snack bar since these snacks are readily available a short distance from the hotel. During colder nights, turn-down service is provided, where they leave warmers in your bed! It's an added touch of excellence that leaves you thinking how thoughtful this establishment is. (Who wants to come back to a cold bed?!?!?!?) Hotel Grounds: 5/5 After exploring Cape Town, you can grab a drink or snack and relax in their lounge; on colder nights, the fireplace is an added touch where you can sit around and recap your adventures or plan your next day of events before returning to your room. There is a 24-hour gym that you have access to, which is small in comparison but decently sized to carry all you need to get a complete workout in if you want to work off all the exquisite food you devoured the previous day. There are shared and personal pool areas around the facilities, all giving you an excellent view of Table Mountain on clear days. Continental breakfast is served daily in the dining section of the hotel, providing you with a variety of choices and chef-prepared specials. You can also enjoy dinner at The Cape. Alternatively, you can head out and experience the nightlife by the pier or even close by one of the nearby restaurants or bars. The hotel is located in the heart of Cape Town, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with many options, including fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, and bacon. Location: 5/5 Located less than a 15-minute drive from Table Mountain, the V&A Waterfront and a short walk from plenty of local shops and restaurants set the tone that you'll always have things to do. This Victorian-style home is nestled in a relatively quiet neighborhood. The most noise we experienced was the birds chirping in the morning, setting the tone for the day. Stylish, friendly hotel with a wonderful location. The Upper Union Restaurant next door was used for breakfast and dinner with a tasty list of sharing plates The only negative was the hot shower being tipis and no shaving point in the bathroom.

This place is exceptional, all the staff are wonderful and so helpful. We loved Cape Town and we loved Cape Cadogan it’s like a home from home. Can’t thank the team enough! We will be back in Cape Town and we will be staying at the Cape Cadogan. Thank you

The Cape Cadogan Boutique is a very nice hotel in convenient location. The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful providing guests with warmest hospitality. The room we stay-in is spacious and tastefully decorated, bathroom is very clean and modern, and the room also has the mountain view. The breakfast is delicious and very healthy.

All round fantastic experience! Great location. Friendly, helpful, and attentive staff. Suburb service at all times, great food and drink. Very well appointed property with fantastic room facilities. Would not hesitate to return here! Thoroughly recommended.
