Stayed one night. Not sure if because of renovation, the reception area wasn't very welcoming, pretty much self check-in set up but staffed too. Busy hotel, popular pool, gym, need to wait your turn for sauna & steam room but Impressed with facilities. Room service food was basic. The room definitely need updating and shower pressure not great. Overall fine though, would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Village Hotel during the NYE. The room was big and spacious. Good location near the grocery.

The room was fine albeit slight mould building up in the bathroom.
The big disappoin**ent came with the breakfast i never had before when i stayed here. What a miserable affair. Little selection, the coffee was awful and what was mmworse tasted of uht milk. The scrambled eggs were gross. Next time just having a breakfast roll in Starbucks.

The bar has a lovely a**osphere with excellent customer service.

Pool was too cold to enjoy. 'Family room' was tiny and had to shuffle around the edge of the beds to move around. Food in the bar was dreadful and overpriced. Most of the 'Sunday' menu was sold out/unavailable, until challenged by another hotel visitor, then the full menu was miraculously available.

The hotel was fine, however our room was a bit tired. The bed was terrible though, felt like sleeping on bricks, no sleep at all that night. Told reception in the morning. Maybe they should get Premier Inn beds.
