"Great location parking at hotel was helpful. Very noisy people coming in talking loud and banging doors. We did ask for a quiet room the room was definitely not quiet."

"Overall a good choice to reduce the cost of a long weekend stay as the city centre Premier Inns are considerably more expensive. Great parking facilities and lovely staff. Rooms are windowless, but well kitted out (no drink making facilities) and well maintained. The superb AC was a boon in 29C weather! A great bus service into the city centre is only a short walk away as are several supermarkets and food chains. Only gripe was being provided one pillow and one towel per person and having to pay for extras."

"I stayed here for a business trip for one week. The room seemed to be clean but it is so dark that you can’t really tell if it is clean or not. That’s actually an issue - the lightening is bad. I couldn’t really work in the room since it had only a yellow ambient lightening and not a normal main source of light. The bathroom can be slightly cold if you don’t leave the door open so that warm air from the A/C can enter. It is shameful that they don’t have a breakfast included, especially for long stays in the hotel which is not so cheap and out of the center… at least one small sandwich would make things better, but nop 👎🏼. Another thing is that the area is not very nice. Unless you have to do something in that area, i don’t recommend you to stay. I was even told by taxi drivers to not walk around alone after it gets dark. Before I knew that, I did take a walk and it really felt a bit unsafe. The staff was ok, I didn’t have much contact with them. Only had an incident when I arrived - they couldn’t find me in their system (it was booked under other name by mistake but I actually changed it a week before arrival so I don’t know why they didn’t have updated information). There is a small gym, but almost all machines, except one, are for cardio exercises. Almost no restaurants or shops in the area."

"The location is close to the city centre. The rooms are quiet, clean, and comfortable. Checking in and checking out was very fast and simple. The meals offered are simple but good."

"We had a few issues leading up to the booking with Trip booking us 2 rooms by mistake but it was no problem to sort out with the hotel; they could see it was a duplicate and it was sorted. The hotel were very good at replying to emails and phone calls too. When we arrived (late at night) reception was manned and they were very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 2 nights and loved the location as it was just off a main road that we could take to drive into Cardiff or to Newport easily. But not close enough to the road to be bothered by road noise. There is also a very nice pub on site - we didn’t make it to eat there but it was lovely to have a few drinks."
