"I love the guesthouse so much. Walking distance to ancient city southgate around 200m. Quiet area but feels safe. There are few halal restaurants nearby. You can walk to Ancient city anytime because it’s so close. The owner also very nice you can ask him anything and he will gladly help you. We request more water bottles hahaha also there is cute baby who greet us everyday 😂 so my fellow Malaysians please book here, you will never regret."

"My favourite accommodation throughout our trip! The view is so amazing and the host was very very helpful. There are rows of food vendors just across our place and a large shopping mall, including walmart just 8mins didi ride away. Train station is conveniently located 10mins away. Btw if you’re taking didi to the station and it’s raining, do cater at least 15 mins for ride hailing."

"We absolutely loved this hotel in the center of Dali Ancient City! We chatted with the hotel employees for a long time, and they taught us about Dali culture and the meaning behind Dali’s traditional clothing. We were allowed to try on the clothing, and they spent over a half an hour helping us take pictures. The rooms are incredibly clean, and our bed even had a heater. 10/10 experience, we will definitely stay here next time we visit Dali!"

"the hotel is beautiful both in the common areas and in the room itself. the room is spacious and the toilet is huge. we got an upgrade during our stay. hotel has an life so no worries about handling your luggage. there are a lot of food options nearby and it is just off the street from the old town. about 15min walk will get you to the main old town spot. the breakfast was delicious. a selection of cooked food and you can order noodles at the main desk. simple afternoon tea with a light snack. we did not get to use the hanfu experience but it is a nice bonus."

Hatta trip.com/website'de o günün kapalı olduğundan bahsetmesine rağmen gitmek istediğim yerle bile iletişime geçti. Neyse ki, sahibi doğrudan yeri aradı ve o gün yerin açık olduğunu doğruladı çünkü dil engeli kendimiz aramak istersek büyük bir zorluktu. Sahibine çok minnettarım. Hatta yerin İngilizce adı olmadığı için bize taksi/şoför bile ayarladı. 100 yıldızım varsa, harika ve sıcak misafirperverliği nedeniyle ona kesinlikle 100 yıldız veririm 🥹 Bu otel ayrıca Dali'deki en çekici yerlerden biri olan Caicun Wharf'a da yakın. Didi'de herhangi bir yere gitmek için rezervasyon yapmak daha kolay! Ve bu otelin ısıtıcısı var, kış mevsiminde çok önemli!"

"This homestay makes the different for my trip in Dali. The homestay was managed by staff and a lady boss that are warm and hospitable. Their service and hospitality was outstanding. The place was tastefully designed with places to relax and enjoy an afternoon tea, and even night snacks etc. The host also made delicious dessert soup every night. The staff were all very friendly and always willing to assist in my needs. The room was clean and quiet for a peaceful sleep every night. I would strongly recommend this homestay if you're into exploring beyond a typical hotel stay. Due to the masses to manage in a big hotel, the staff attention to details and warm can be limited at times, but not at this small homestay. Homestay, can also provide opportunities to make new friends and enjoy a more peaceful and quieter environment. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience and keep up the good work. Cheers."

"I stayed in a double room with lake view and balcony. The room was spacious and clean with a view of Ethan Lake. Check in was fast. The breakfast buffet was decent but not exceptional. The gym was above average for a hotel gym. Room service is fast, but the selection is not extensive. The hotel has a spa but I opted not to go because the hotel disclaimed it as not operated by the hotel. The hotel is not walking distance to Dali Old Town. For touristing, there is a third party tour operator in the lobby that can set you up with a car and driver for a reasonable fee."

"My family n I had a lovely time staying at Hilton Garden Inn Ancient City for 3 nights . It’s up along the bustling 三月街 with lots of restaurants n street food but the hotel environment is very quiet n peaceful n safe . The location is within walking distance to Dali Ancient City as well . Behind the hotel is spectacular ChangSan mountain . The front office staffs were amazing ! Shawn , Amy, Vicky & Ella were so patient n helpful with answering all my queries on how to order food delivery as we arrived late at night . Shawn even let us used his phone to order food n recommended restaurants that’s good . The hotel’s only restaurant only serves buffet breakfast. His team shown lots of initiative and good customer service attitude that I find lacking in most hotels in Yunnan. They are always so welcoming with a big smiles on their faces . Room was super spacious n clean with partial view of Er Hai . It’s equipped with all the necessities for a comfortable stay . Big tv with Local Tv channels only . We slept well as the bed was super comfy . There’s a balcony with insect screen as well as day n night curtain. Breakfast spread offers western n local delights with live egg n noodle stations . I’m glad I chose this hotel instead of one in the city . The air is fresher here , no tall buildings around so relaxing . Overall a great stay n we’ll be back again !"

"We really really recommend this hotel! Starting from when we first checked in, the receptionist was very helpful and guided us throughout our stay using WeChat app as we could not speak Chinese. The hotel room was clean and spacious, smells good, warm for the winter and the toilet also have a warmer which was very convenient. We slept soundly the whole 3 days we were there. It was only a 10-min walk from the Dali Ancient City and nearby a street food market. Simple breakfast was provided. Porridge, eggs, buns, sweet potatoes and soy milk. The decorations in the middle of the hotel was pretty lovely. The receptionist helped us rent an EV bike for 40yuan/100km. You definitely must rent a bike to go around Dali. Just ask the receptionist and she will help you. At the end of our stay, we were gifted with a box of flower cakes and green teas. So thoughtful of them 😍 WILL DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN WHEN IN DALI."
