Nice Hotel with very friendly reception staff. Clean and good size room. A lovely view of the city from the windows. Very good breakfast. Two good size bottles of water provided. Close to the shopping mall, restaurants and steps away from subway station. A really good choice for a Canton Fair visitor, would certainly stay again.

was abit sceptical due to some of the reviews but was totally wrong! Ocean is in-between 2 stations, some 5-8mins walk away but wasn't that bad as these 2 stations are on L5 and L6 that connects to attractions easily and just 3 bus stop away from aPM. there's a few eateries near OuZhuang station that's worth checking out it.
As for the hotel itself, its clean and of good size. Housekeeping is done daily and changes out all the towels, bedsheets. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Tried both Chinese restaurant and the food is good. You can good view on 27th restaurant, able to see Canto Tower and Baiyun Mountain.
All in all, a good hotel to stay in!

The room is well design and the air conditioning was very effective. Level 30 has got a laundry machine and entirely free. The Uncle doing the area cleaning on level 30 upstairs even helped me do a changeover from washing machine to air dryer while I went down for a bowl of 云吞面.
My room was kept really clean daily. The housekeeping lady did a great job in room 1815. Pity that i cannot remember her name.
The reception was helpful and one of them 梁小姐 look after me well.
Will certainly recommend to anyone if the standards can be maintained.

GGuest UserHampton Inn Guangzhou Baiyun is a brand new hotel with complete facilities. The breakfast is also very rich. From the moment we picked up the hotel, the hotel provided services beyond expectations. We have six suitcases. After checking in, our luggage was delivered to the room almost at the same time. The robot service can take it away. Takeaways, etc. were delivered directly to the room. On the day of check-out, we made a reservation for pick-up in advance. In the morning, we informed the front desk that we were ready to leave. The service staff came up quickly to help us carry our luggage down. When we came down, all the luggage had been loaded into the car. The door was opened while we were waiting. I was surprised by this service. I have stayed for more than 1,000 yuan a night and have never enjoyed such service. Special thanks to the front desk staff for providing a lot of help and the pick-up and drop-off chef! Next time I am transiting through Baiyun, I will still choose Hampton!

AAscotThe hotel is spotlessly clean, inside the room especially. Super quiet, did not hear a soul from outside the room. Same goes with watching the airplanes take-off and landing, not a sound at all. The shuttle service is number 1 for personalized service. It is worth staying at, with a bus stop on the road virtually directly out front, great eateries next door as well.

SSudeepBWow! The attention to detail on this hotel makes up for a pleasant stay. As the name suggests, the hotel is designed in an orange theme. You will love noticing every part of the hotel, from the entrance, lobby to even the escalator area.
Check-in took around 20 mins as our room was being cleaned. There is unlimited coffee and orange drink in the lobby area. Bed was comfortable but the sound insulation was just okay. We could hear the noise from subway Trains passing by below the hotel. There are a few eateries around 200 meters away from the hotel. And Yuexiu metro station is nearby as well. Please take exit A to get off the metro station and then take two left turns and go straight ahead and you will find the hotel on your left. Just note that you will need to carry the luggage through stairs when exiting out of the metro station.
We did not like the breakfast spread and there is not much western breakfast items. They can definitely improve on it.

GGuest UserWhere to start. Firstly i requested the shuttle as advised in the drop box and added my flight details and times eft. I arrived at the airport and remember it's my first trip to China. My e-sim luckily kicked in and went to get 43 as advertised and i waited and waited and waited. I even sent an email an i tried to use didi to locate their address it didn't work. Finally i got in contact with a colleague back home and asked her ask her friends in China to contact them. This is almost 2 hours later. I'm still waiting for her and then remember the mall as a landmark and try it on didi and it works. It costed me 32 yen as it was Chinese near year and rates were high. Literally a minute after getting into the cab my friend responds and says their on their way. I tell her ok and get go the mall and walk on the sidewalk to the hotel.
Here I'm met with the confused staff member who just doesn't understand any English at all. I eventually give up trying to communicate with her and just show her the booking details pay and am checked in. Nearly 3 hours later I'm left to take my own luggage upstair throw a maze and it felt like foever to get to my room. I was so exhausted and have a shower and sleep. Later that evening i decide to go out and am met by Sam very helpful manager who has an apology typed out in English ect. He knows alittle English and tries his best to assist me.
I also tell him about my room and he upgraded me to a suite closer to the elevator and i was happy.
Fast forward to the next day i decide to try the breakfast buffet which costs 88yen in comparison to the neighboring hotels who charge 38 yen for a breakfast. Immediately I see the selection is limited and caters more to chinese dishes Vs western. The warmers were cold and you had to ask for something to warmed on the griddle. The chef looked ever so confused when asked q question and just stood there dumb struck (remember the breakfast starts at 7am. The first and last day being today I was there just after 7 and the food was cold😂😂😂
The cereal was stale, coffee stations limited. And just the same food on repeat every other day. For 88yen I expect a good breakfast. I only ate at the buffet 3 out 10 days at the hotel. The surprising part is that I was not contacted one day to check why i hadn't eaten there that morning but a roll call was done daily to see who was at breakfast. I eventually settled for mc donalds and kfc at my own cost for breakfast and was happy. The food is a 2 outta 10 for me(the chef needs a reality check and needs basic training in English.)
The best part of my stay was the comfort of the room. The cleaning staff are absolutely amazing in what they do and the ladies went beyond and above to make sure my suite felt like a home. They even tried to converse and smile and wave whenever we met at the lift opposed the the kitchen and reception staff.
Another worthless member of staff is Ben Mo. He does understand alittle English however he just has a cold approach and looks at you as if you're stupid and would rater sit on his cellphone watching videos instead of helping clients.
Overall i was extremely happy with the members of staff that did try to assist me and always smiled and were friendly. I appreciate it. This hotel needs to really invest in getting basic English skill sets if they want to improve. Third world countries with uneducated people eg in India can speak and understand basic English better than the people here.
For the price i was charged i definitely won't be booking this hotel anytime soon i will however be booking right next door to them at a much cheaper price and hopefully a better level of service.

I recently stayed at the Kyriad Marvelous Hotel (Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport) for two nights. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of the positive reviews I read online, which makes me question their authenticity.
**From the very beginning, the check-in process was unpleasant.** The staff displayed a rude and unwelcoming demeanor. When they provided the initial Wi-Fi username and password, it turned out to be incorrect.
**We returned to the lobby to address the Wi-Fi issue.** Instead of simply providing the correct credentials, the staff member became impatient and took our phone to set up the connection themselves. When we politely requested the username and password for our computer, they responded with a dismissive attitude, stating they ”already set it up” and questioned why we needed the information. We explained the initial credentials were wrong, and they finally provided the correct username and password written on a piece of paper, further demonstrating their lack of courtesy.
**Housekeeping was another area of disappointment.** After our first night, we requested room service. Despite confirming our room number and promising to clean the room later, housekeeping never arrived. Returning to the hotel in the evening, we found our room untouched. We ended up having to replenish our own water bottles and toilet paper.
**The airport fetching service we booked was another source of frustration.** We arrived in the lobby early for the arranged pick-up time. However, when the pick-up time approached, we were informed that the car had already left for the airport without us!** There was no apology or explanation for this missed pick-up. Thankfully, another driver was present in the lobby and was able to arrange alternative transportation to ensure we reached the airport on time. This incident was a stressful and concerning experience.
Overall, my stay at the Kyriad Marvelous Hotel was a frustrating one. The staff's unprofessionalism, the lack of housekeeping service, the missed airport pick-up, and the initial Wi-Fi problems significantly detracted from the experience.
**In light of this experience, I would strongly advise potential guests to manage their expectations and consider alternative hotels near the airport that offer reliable airport fetching services and provide a more welcoming atmosphere.**

GGuest UserThe hotel is in an excellent location. It is within a reasonable distance from Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street and Chen Clan Ancestral Hall. It takes more than 10 minutes to walk and 7 minutes to walk to the subway station. The hotel actually occupies three floors of a residential building. The room is really not flattering. There is a bed as soon as you open the door. There is only one bed in the whole room. Two people can only sleep on the bed in the room. There is no place to put it in the room. The toilet is small and pitiful. One person can't take a shower and the other person can't use the toilet. . This is the smallest room I have ever booked on Ctrip. The order indicates that there are windows, but there are no windows, and the area is definitely not 20 square meters. Won’t book again, poor experience

GGuest UserThis is the best Hotel in Guangzhou , situated right next to the Pearl river ,walking distance to Johnny Morgans famous British Pub.A free indoor and outdoor swimming pool , and a free Sauna and Steam Room both for ladies and Gentlemen.A well equipped Gym and 2 Squash Courts.In addition ,the buffet dinner is excellent with sirloin steak , Raw Salmon , Mutton , Roast Beijing Duck , and free beer ! As much as you can eat or drink ! 168 Rmb only.!And the friendliest staff .A Starbucks 10 meters across the Road.Very relaxing atmosphere.A Holiday on its own.Highly Recommended.My Wife loved it , and I could sit the whole day working on my Computer and having a steam session and warm water swim every few hours or so.Felt very rested and Healthy and rejuvinated after 3 Evenings.Highly Recommended !

SSeh KiatVery good location next to the Beijing Lu Pedestrian Walk. In the older part of the city. The surrounding is very nostalgic yet very well kept by the city.
My room is a river view high floor and it was exactly what I got. Full height window and a Tatami bed. It also came with a washer and a separate dryer. Unfortunately the dryer had to be placed in the bathroom which made it a bit cramp.
The room itself is well maintained and what I suspect to be toiletries left behind by previous occupants are displayed for subsequent travellers.
I had great sleep, unfortunately I could not enjoy the great view because it was fogged out during my stay..
Overall, think Airbnb apartment.
The building is quite aged, so the lifts are a bit slow in coming. Add to that, the entire building seems to be occupied by numerous similar operators.
BTW Check In and service desk is in apartment 1813, at least for now.

GGuest UserThe room was big and comfortable. Big bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The water pressure is very bad in the shower. Cleanliness in the room was OK but can be improved. There was a lot of built up dirt, hair and dust in the corners of the room and in the bathroom. A more thorough cleaning of the room should be done more often.
The location is good, it’s right across from a big beautiful park and in walking distance from many bars and restaurants. For westeners who like steak/burgers I would recommend walking across the park, to the south gate, and then go into the round square called “Central Park-view” and find the restaurant Bistro 63.
Also very easy to get a taxi outside the hotel and it’s cheap to go pretty much anywhere. 1-5€ will take you to most popular places around the city.
The staff does not speak ANY English. Not even in the reception. But they use a translator app efficiently.
The brekfast is very small and 99% Chinese even though they listed it as Western/Chinese. The only western breakfast we found was white bread (but no butter) and a yoghurt. That’s pretty much it. We chose to eat breakfast elsewhere most days.
